Servers, favorites, history

OK dudes. Steam is having problem keeping my favorites and history.

I've somehow managed to lose ALL my CSS favorites

Whats going on here and what can I do?

Even in the server browser from the steam menu (on your desktop)? Sometimes they don't show in the ingame browser.

this happens to me every few days on any steam game.

i've asked valve to fix this numerous times as it isn't a problem which only occurs to me, but many others.

why can't they just have it work fine ? i've resorted to having a txt file with my favourites in it. ;(

I don't have to reproduce it, the company does. Also, I'm not expected to fix it.

.. unless, are you talking on Valve's behalf and they honestly don't know why it is happening ? You work for Valve, disturbed, ya ?

There is a problem which is due to software which has been around for quite awhile and Valve hasn't fixed it and I wouldn't be suprised if they haven't admitted to it yet.

tonight i lost all my favorite servers and its beginning to tick me off.
it wasn't the first time...and it probably won't be the last time either :|
