So, which do you think is better in terms of gameplay?

I'd go with Joint Ops, but Shadow Ops is still very good.

For now it is. But on 10/5/2004 it will be released on PC.

I'm trying to decide the exact same thing, I want Shadow: Ops for XBL play but Join Ops might be better because of massive firefights etc.

Isn't it funny that all of a sudden, there is a slew of Ops games?
I mean, there is Joint Ops, Psi-Ops, and Shadow Ops. I wonder if that is just a mere coincidence or purposely done by the developers?

I love Joint ops! I've played it ever since the first beta demo was released! I'm still waiting for it to be released.

I played the Joint Ops demo for all of 90 seconds before it crashed on me... This was a period where my computer didn't seem to like to play even HL1 without glitching or crashing...I haven't tried it since. It looks pretty sweet though.

I've been following Shadow Ops for a while and I like it. I'll get it for PC tho (release oct. 2004). Joint Ops reaks like bad ass odor imho.

Well, Shadow Ops has gotten 2 reviews so far. Game Spot giving it a 6.8/10 and Team Xbox awarding it with an 8.8/10.
I side more with Team Xbox.
