shall i get the x700 under a 100 squid

i went to pc world to get some more memory and saw that a graphics card was on sale for 100 so i thought ill look up reviews on the internet to see if its any good. so i saw some reviews and ppl seem to be happy with it. i think i have a fx 5400 at the mo so will it be wise to get this radeon x700 coz it is exactly in my price range

You need a PCI-E slot for it, not AGP. And I'm guessing you mean fx5500 or 5200, and both are AGP, so I'm guessing you don't have a PCI-E slot.

Oh it is the AGP version, ok then. Yeah it's that easy, take the old one out pop the new one in and install drivers. Since you're switching from Nvidia to ATi, download DriverCleaner3 (google for it) to fully remove all traces of Nvidia drivers before installing the ATi one's.
