Yes or no? It's on sale this weekend and I have the requirements it needs... so should I get it? Does it have that long lost Tribes feel that I miss? Someone tell me if it's worth my Ten American Dollarz.

Edit: Just noticed it was free for the weekend too... but I'd still like to get the opinions of people who have played it for more time than the weekend.

There was a thread about it a month or so ago. Most people seemed to enjoy it. I can't run it but IF I could I would buy this in a heartbeat.

Feels more like Descent than Tribes really.
I couldn't really get into it from what I played at my friend's place but if you liked Descent then give it a try.

It's made by Futuremark. Looks like one of their 3DMark apps from the trailer. Also means my PC can't run it.

It's pretty cool.

If you've read Ender's Game, it's similar to his zero-g training trials.

Really, the only thing that makes it good is the fact that IT'S AN FPS IN ZERO GRAVITY.

GET IT IT'S PRETTY SWEET BUT DON'T EXPECT TO GET A BATTLEFIELD 2

Its a decent game, good to just pick up and play if you get bored.

Like ace said, don't expect the best game ever, I myself can't play it for that long, but for short periods its alright :)

I'd play the game if my PC ran it smoothly. with that being said i'll just wait till i get a new rig or just pass like i'm doing now :(

Well it's not bad... definitely a system hog for what it presents... but I think it's eating up processor power dealing with all the hitbox calculations because they're pretty spectacular. It sucks that there's basically one weapon and not many game types. I think it might be worth $10 just for the originality, but yeah it's definitely not tribes. Honestly, if you changed the models around it would just be your average space shooter. The "grounding" aspect is kind of neat and sort of disappearing when you hold still. I was doing pretty well, but I'm still not sure if I would buy it.

Space is cool though.

Its a game that you'd play for the novelty of playing in space. Its a unique experience, that no other game has come close to making. I've only ever played it a few times, so as far as bang for your buck goes, its not too great, but its definitely something I'd recommend any real gamer to play. TBH, the free weekend is probably all you'll need to get the experience.

It's more of a bench mark than a game. Hardly worth half of the current price.

I had to play in Windowed mode for the trial so this is a no no for mes. fun but not worth the upgrade....yet
