Small Intro
------------------
Set in an alternate reality of our world, Shattered Oasis is a time of feudal anarchy and savage hatred. Two forces, two lifestyles, battling for survival and dominance in a land ravaged by neglect and warfare. Seeking solitude and structure, the Compounders fight off the barbaric tribes of Variants, bent on fulfilling their lusts. Survival in a Shattered Oasis.
Our team has over 2 years of assets available and ready to input into the source engine. We are a close knit team and many of us have been together as a team for more then 2 years, so we're not about to fold anytime soon.

For the source engine we're planning something slightly different then our UT2004 version.
we have one planned gametype which I'll list below but if you are a coder and have another gametype idea maybe we could help you make it happen in Shattered Oasis.

Compounders vs the Variants.
Components / Items

Power Core / Nuclear power plant. ------ 1 per team
Power Rigs / Oil Rigs ------------- 5/6 per map neutral to start
Trading posts - ------------ Up to map maker – Players buy/trade weapons here.
Salvage bags ---------------- Players drop these when killed – also mappers can place random salvage bags.

Each power core will have “x” amount of health
Each power core can be directly attacked
The capture points in the map can be taken over by walking up to the control panels on the power rigs and pressing the use button, the power rig will then start operating if it isn’t already with the team color of smoke (blue / red) to indicate who owns it.
For each core owned the opposite teams power core will take X amount of damage until it detonates. Unless captured away by the other team.
A team wins when the other team's power core health reaches 0.
Trading posts
--------------
Players will be able to buy/ trade for more weapons from strategically placed trading through- out the map using the salvage they collect from killed players.
Trading posts will have a damage capacity and can be destroyed ( they will respawn in a set time)
