Shedding light on the whole G-man employment thang?

*Sigh*

The pinnacle of half life 2 story speculation...this will continue for years to come...well...until half life 3

Heres an idea, in the Halflife viewer, open one of the scientists dialogues and one of them will say something on the lines of: "The administrator's men are here today" or something. With the administrator being Dr Wallace Breen and a possibility that Gman worked for him in HalfLife, it might be that the Gman found out the administrators nafarious plans and tried to prevent it (or alter the time it takes for the administrator to gain power on Earth i.e. Kill the Nihilanth, etc). Gordon disappeared for 5-10 years as Gman would need him in case he failed back in Black Mesa, at a later time period.

But as I was writing I just realised what the Gman says at the end of the game.
"I recommended your services to my employers, and they agree with me that you have limitless potential."
So it might be that he is actually a 3rd party character (Not from Black Mesa/Administrator/or even government as his name would imply)
