It's like the ending of Planet of the Apes, and we've been on Earth all along. ;(
I'm so disillusioned.

The proof:
-Paleontologists use plaster to protect the bones. Maybe they use it to make the actual bones themselves too!
-Children's books tell them how to make fake model dinosaur skeletons!
-Various paleontologists have proven and advertised that some bones are fakes.
Thus, all paleontologists are unreliable sources who create fake bones!
-That's about it!

The paleontologists, biologists, mineralogists, etc. of the world have pulled the wool over our eyes for long enough!
We must fight back against this million-man conspiracy!
 
Precisely what would be the point behind a dinosaur conspiracy?
 
Kyle, could you start contributing to threads a bit more rather than comments like "my cat smells like catfood" and "so HL2 is still on for a Sept 30th release then?" - as funny as they are, a lot of people would see it as spam.

Moon landing = fake ?!!? They had the ability to do it and there is a bunch of stuf about things that are wrong from hte videos that got sent back etc, like shadows and other stuff..

As for the "OMG, Dinosaurs are fake!", some creationists have a psychological need to believe in garbage like this.

Funny that a farmer I know would take all that time out from his busy schedule to bury a load of fake bones in his fields... about 10 tonnes of them, by my estimate.:dozey:

Reading that site, it's like that idiot was reading his books through some kind of improperly-adjusted mental filter.

He picks out common grammatical errors as proof of his theory, and reads far too much into mundane statements.

They do do that, they've never denied it, not all bones are found intact and to get a better idea of how something should look they have to make fake bones to add to the rest. Sometimes unidentified human remains have their heads reconstructed in clay using the skull as a base, does that mean the person never existed? no.

Oh that must be it, case closed lol. Paleontologists, by nature try to give a best guess, they like anyone else on earth don't know 100% what Dinosaurs looked like, its just guesswork, some good some bad, look how bad original idea's from the victorian era of how dino's looked compared to modern theories, or maybe those early idea's were closer than we think, we just don't know until someone grows a living dinosaur for real. If you'd never seen a human body before and found a few remains in the ground, would you know how it really looked, with absolutely no references to their actual appearance, harder job than it looks.
 
A question came to my mind after I had skimmed through that page:

Who is this guy trying to convince, us, or himself?

I have nothing against religion, but this is just plain sad.

Oh, and to Fenric: The guy didn't just claim that some bones are plaster, he says they all are. The more I think about it, the more improbable it sounds. :eek:
I'm pretty upbeat on the whole dinosaur thing trivia-wise and, from reading that site, I'm convinced that the author has never met a paleontologist, gone to a fossil dig or has even seen a fossil closer than three metres away.

I give his site an 'E' for 'effort' though. You can tell he believes what he says.
If he turned out to be right, it would be the single funniest thing ever. :)

as far as dinosaur conspiracy goes, clearly the dinosaurs have been used to subjugate us humans for a long tie now, don't you guys remember the stories our parents would tell us when we were kids about how the dinosaurs will come and eat you if your bad? and the dinosaur fairy that rips your teeth out in your sleep when you lie (and then patronizingly gives you a quarter)?? or how about the dinosaurs that run the media and keep women from getting eqaul pay to men? what this groundbreaking research is telling us is that none of this may be true afterall!!!! i'm intrigued, but i doubt the people behind this discovery will be left alive much longer. i just wish i didn't have to pay the dinosaur tax anymore.. :(

christians believe the earth is around 6000 years old. when faced with the problem of dinosaurs, they proclaim god put them there to test our faith.

that article is so much bullcrap it's unbelievable. how can the writer jump from one extreme to another with bounding logic statements - and here's the science part - without any of it making sense?

there's also a little thing called carbon dating. and there's also a film called Jurassic Park. i rest my case.
 
wow i'm reading more of this article and by god he's a complete dick. he proclaims that "all of a sudden there were discoveries around the globe" or something to that effect. well maybe it's because they knew what they were looking for then? stupid dickhead.

i'm tempted to email him and curse him till i can't curse anymore for his sheer stupidity. i'll tell him to go back to walmart and stop trying to write essays on things he does't know how to research properly. and i'll tell him to shove his religion up his unevolved little behind.

I don't understand why so many people have trouble reconciling evolution, the age of the world, dinosaurs, etc. with the Bible. It's not that hard to truly believe in both as long as you understand that the Genesis in the Bible isn't supposed to be taking completely literally.
 
moon landing wasn't fake for a few reasons :

1.there would be no way to keep this undercover
2.moon rock was brough back
3.the flag can be seen from some high resoultion telescopes
4.a mirror was placed on the moon, lasers have been sent back and forth using it.

there was some other important reason i cant remember.
 
Yes, a shocking conspiracy. Just like every other modern myth-there's an aiforce base in Nevada that imprisons children and feeds them to aliens to appease them, some guy invented a carburettor that can go 200 miles to the gallon but the petrol companies are sitting on it. There are numerous inconsistencies in the theory and the author pounces on the most tenuous evidence. Added to that I've actually found a fossil bone and identified it as one from some sort of mammal and it's plain to see that the entire thing is idiocy. Of course, you could argue that I'm one of them and actually trying to cover it up, but would I lie to you? Ahem.

No offense but dude that makes no sense. Galileo (sp?) proved that the world was only one planet out of our solar system and that we revolved around the sun. The catholic church noticed that if this was true then it would prove their religion wrong, so they imprisoned him and threatened him with torture. He was told to say he was wrong, or else be tortured and he did. But then many years later its proven again. All religion does is adapt to whatever science proves and says "oh it actually says it right here! It was just a metaphor/misinterpetation!" when they know damn well it wasnt, samething with many saying that a certain scripture shouldnt be taken literally or should be dismissed all together. The Bible has many contradictions so in order to keep the religion alive they have to adapt to new findings or try to disprove them in a radical way.

Im bringing the entire religion to account for something that happened before, it is the same religion.
 
thats the point though, religion wasn't made by or for god...

it was made by desperate humans who at the time the bible would have been right, the point is relion really has no appliance to todays life, ignorant people have tried to keep alive something that should have died out many years ago. Besides, think logically... a god made us? yeah, right.

Yea i agree, to a point. All of the gods represented in religions cannot be proven logically. But on the other hand there may very well be some god above us, but we dont have any evidence that it actually exists so your basically saying that some unknown being is doing somethign in a unknown way. For all we know the universe could be self governing.

no really we made our selves, we werent made in seven days, we were made in 7 trillion years, now you imagine or the possible chemical collisions that could of happend in that time, one after another the correct flukes would slowly pile up and form the earth and etc.
