Anyone seen this?

Its a balls to the wall deliberately so far over the top action film with intentionally head in your hands cheesy one liners and bloody but 'bugs bunny' slapstick violence that makes you laugh both at it and along with it. Think Max Payne 2 minus the the film noir comic book sequences and a heavy metal soundtrack throughout every action sequence...

Yeah it's a great first-time viewing.

I actually couldn't stand watching it a second time.
 
Saw the movie off joox and it should remain that way. :| Guy delivers a baby while in a shoot-out, then shoots off the umbilical cord, then the mom dies. Oh and he has sex with a prostitute and while they are at it, henchmen break into the room so he like picks her up while still screwing her and has a gun fight that way. Lot's of over the top orgasms too. :p The movie is just way over the top of corny, crazy shit that you have never seen in a film. Just pirate it because IMO it's not even worth a rental.

that's probably the worst thing i've seen in a long time.
 
The entire point of this movie is to be ridiculous, and it achieves this aim admirably. It's the most excellent gun-based movie since anything.
 
I loved this movie. I probably couldn't watch it again though. I also have a newfound love for carrots.
 
I was unfortunate enough to see it in theaters and literally dozed off in the middle of it. It was boring. None of the "ridiculousness" was remotely clever, entertaining, or funny. It was like a 12 year old boy with ADD got to write and direct a movie. It was just stupid and it bored the crap out of me.

Now that you mention boredom, I did find myself yawning quite a bit and dozing off in quite a few segments.

I was wtf'ing in my head whenever that happened, it's like... how the hell am I being bored by this?

I did find Crank to be far more entertaining than this though.
 
I thought it was awesome. Anyone who didnt like it, probably took it too seriously. The moment I saw him kill a guy with a carrot, I knew I would love this movie.
 
When people say "eerh but it's a good action movie" about 300 or Resident Evil I point them this way.

"Cockface," I say (for they invariably are) - "Here is a movie which is literally 80% shooting people, and it's awesome. Rejoice."
 
It's a superb shoot out movie.Hence the name.
If you expect a plot with developing characters then don't bother watching it.
I personally, enjoyed it very much.
 
I believe my review was something like "the best worst movie I've ever seen".

I stand by that assessment.

Its not supposed to be a good movie that entertains you the way a traditional movie should. I enjoyed it in the same way I enjoy watching a Toho Godzilla movie because half the time I'm laughing AT the film and how ridiculous it was.
 
Yeah, I definitely throw this on my pile of "so bad its good" stuff.
 
I enjoyed the ridiculousness in it.

But Monica Bellucci's acting was crappy and she was given dumb lines.

The bad acting was part of the entertainment!! Even clive owen got in on the act!
 
Yea, seems most people are taking it too seriously, it's not about the plot, story, any of that, it's about death, gun fights, etc. I loved it.
 
I loved this movie. I really like movies like this in general, aka Crank. Very funny and just balls to the wall action. Got this on blu-ray and seen it 3 times already.
 
I was expecting something more ridiculously funny not "stupid funny" if that makes sense, so I was quite disappointed.
