Okay, don't jump for posting what may be elsewhere on the forum -although I never saw it answered.
I like for my shoot em ups to have weapons with "meat" to them. You know what I mean? I like for a 12 gauge to feel like a 12 guage (or 10 gauge for that matter) How is this effect simulated in HL2? Also, what type of response can we expect from enemies getting shot. Will the ragdoll effect be seen before the enemy falls? In other words, if I shoot an enemy in the shoulder will I see him spin a bit. I ask this only because I and many others can't stand when you shoot an enemy and there is no animation to slow him down or let you know he is shot and hurting. Usually its just a splatter of blood and the damn thign just keeps shooting at you like he wasn't hit with lead. Thanks fellas.
