That videocard blows major balls. I suggest an Athlon64, way better for gaming, plus you can use AGP cards ( PCI-E isnt better than AGP @ the moment ) Here is a killer rig that would rape HL2..

*AMD Athlon 64 3200/3400 ( 754 ) or A64 3500/3800 ( 939 )
*1GB+ Low Latency 3200
*74gb rapors ( 10k RPM )
*6800 GT/ 6800 ULTRA/ X800 XT/ X800XT PE

Em that graphics card really does blow. Would not put that in a new build it is outdated now.

Also why have DDR? does the Abit AG8 i915 support DDR and DDR2? Cause if it don't you need DDR2 for a PCI-E motherboard.

Ah just checked and it does but why not use DDR2 anyway?

Also you don't say what case it is and if it ain't an antec then I would trust the included power supply as far as I could throw it.

The case doesn't matter as much as the other stuff people have mentioned.

Switch to an Athlon 64, and a (much) better graphics card.
