Should I buy X-Box?Halo?

I am really torn right now. I have two options right now. I can buy an X-Box and Halo, or I can upgrade my computer to a 2.8p4 with a ATi 9600 Pro. Now, the system I have right now is a P3-800 with 256mb ram and a Gf4(I could run HL2 at min details I bet). I can't afford to do both. I have heard so much about Halo and the X-box, but I hear it is coming out on PC in september. So, should I say screw teh X-box and just upgrade and buy it on PC, or is the Co-Op on the X-box good enough, and are there other titles on the X-box worthy of the purchase. Ahh Decisions...

i dont think Halo is that good, kinda boring..heard the PC version is much better

I would go with the PC upgrade.
FPS games are never that good on consoles.

PC version is exactly the same in SP, the only differences are the weapons and new maps in multiplayer

Hmm, I heard Co-op was really good in Halo, and they have confirmed co-op will not be in the PC version. I allways love playing co-op games on my bro's PS2 with my 2 brothers and sister(Twisted Metal mainly).

What is your opinion of the co-op?

Only ever played Co-Op once, that was with my brother on Xmas day......for 5 minutes before he pissed off and played with his stuff

Was good fun while it lasted tho

Never heard anyone use piss off in the past tense. The only way I have ever heard pissed off is telling someone to, "Piss OFF!!!" Much like "f**k off". Oh, well. I guess I am gonna go for the upgrade.

Its the way we Brits use the term 'pissed'... When an american say's they are pissed it means they are angry or annoyed. When brits use it they use it in 2 different ways. If we say someone has pissed off it means they just upped and left abruptly. But if we say someone is pissed or has got a bit pissed it means they are drunk...

.....and go with the PC upgrade option. Halo is the only reason to buy an Xbox and its due out on PC anyhow...

Amazingly selling 5k packs of Big Red in Waikiki got more votes than the X-Box.

Hmm, decisions decisions... I have narrowed it down to:Upgrade/Gum...

Upgrade it is!!(I hate going to waikiki anyways, Makiki is so much more peacefull of a neighborhood. I love Hawaii )

Well i have a x-box and a pc (duh) and well... don't buy a x-box JUST for Halo imo... BUT you can buy a x-box for other games! yea yea... not only Halo is on X-box ... i have 9 games right now...

Morrowind,
And Amped

I can say that 2 of 9 games sucks.. Jet Set Radio Future and Morrowind...
But all the others games are great..
In my opinion you should buy the X-box Pack with Halo and Amped for only 279$ Canadian... and upgrade your PC for a 2.4 and a ti4200 instead of a 2.8 with a 9600... It Still a GREAT PC ....

Halo is great on Xbox but if you can afford the upgrade for your PC, go for Halo PC.
