Should I Get A BGF 6800GT OC?

I have a 9800 Pro and I'm wondering if i should upgrade to the 6800gt oc? Will I see a big difference in games?

You will see quite a large one... but TBH you should keep your 9800 Pro - just because its now 'officially' a mid range card, it still performs well. I went through the whole of HL2 under 1280x1024, HIGHEST graphics, 4x AA and 4x AF with 60+fps constant. Only during hectic moments did it slow down, but thats most likely to be the fact i have a single stick of 512mb

I decided not to get it, since they won't be making anymore AGP video cards I'm gonna wait a bit longer till I upgrade again. Thanks everyone!

ya just keep your 9800 pro, and wait untill the 6800 gt isnt so expsensive. I think when the next gen cards are announced in march or aprill that you would be to cpu constrained to bother getting one unless you upgraded your cpu also (but im not sure if an agp version of the cards will be released). So I would just wait another 6 months or so and hopefully the 6800gt will come down in price.

Or you could just wait untill summer 2005 or 2006 and upgrade your whole system at once.

Too many things are coming out now, I'm gonna have to wait till btx cases are popular. I'm pretty sure btx will last as long as atx did.
