Well, the title speaks for itself....
I know there's someone else out there, like me, who is a proud owner of his/her car and likes to boast its qualities.
So, I decided to start this fully qualified UT2004 (Useless Thread 2004) with my own car.... for your viewing pleasure.

Let's start with a small, low quality picture (due to forum's limitations)....
Specs will follow on request :)

Well, what are you waiting for?
Show us your car?

I got a "Access denied" message.... :(

I know I don't have a car, but apart from Shellback, your cars seem pretty generic. Why not get something with a little more character?

Customize a BMW? .... Not in this life, buddy!
Let apart that doing so will probably blow my 4 year warranty out the window... given that my kind of customization would allow things like neon light, spoilers....

I'm not saying customize your car, I'm saying get something with a little character. For instance, the mini (new and old) has character. Its distinctive.

my car

my other car

farrow I'd love a corvette but with a family, it's not going to happen ...plus insurance on a vette is more than both my cars combined

But I have the Mini too!!!... The new model.
A red "Mini One" with white top and white rearview mirrors, with custom rims... it's my mom's car, actually.
When I want to be "looked at", I pick up (actually steal) my mom's car.

Due to my job, I drive for about 1000km each week... That would be unbearable with a Mini.

Yes, but a mini isn't the only car with some distinction :) I was simply using it as an example.

I see your point.... :|
I used to have distinctive cars... but slowly turned to more reliable and safer ones.

The market forced me to... and my job too (as I said).
My brother had a Honda Integra and it costed him about 25000 euro. He also spent variuos hundreds of euros in customizations...
Then, when he decided to sell it for a "Smart"... the retailer gave him 8000 euro for his used car.... just because his "distinctive" car is also a "niche" car... and had little or no market at all.

I understood on my own that a distinctive car is a beautiful thing to have... since you don't plan to resell it in the forthcoming 10 years or if you plan not to use it as a "car", but only as a "toy".

....and I think my BMW do have some distinction, though.
