Shrek 2 Trailer

I loved the first one, and this one will defenetly be another legendery part.

Actually, Shrek made me laugh more than any other movie in the last 5 years. It was simply brilliant. And the trailer looks good!
 
Shrek was good, but I prefer the pixar stuff.

Definitely looking forward to this new one :)

i dunno... finding nemo was a damned good show for the little ones...
it sold 8,000,000 videos and or DVDs on the 1st day of its release

Finding nemo wasn't all that funny though... I was dissapointed.

IMO Shrek is the best CG film to be released. It may not have sold as well as disney/pixar ones, but i thought for the older audiances Shrek had much more.

I think i might get Finding Nemo on dvd, looks pretty cool. Whens it out in the UK?
 
Is this based on an actual book like the 1st one or is it a sequal somebody made up?
 
Shrek beat the pants off Toy Story. Shrek had so many more references that only adults would understand then toy story. It had more adult humour, although it was subtile.

However I'm pretty saddened that they are making another one. Sequals that wern't planned ALWAYS stink.

Star Wars with its prequals
Jurassic Park
The NUMEROUS disney sequals, such as Alladin, Little Mermaid, Lion King, etc etc etc
shoot, list goes on and on...

True, true. The sad thing is, the author of the original Shrek died just a few weeks ago and if they make another "Shrek" movie that's not based on his work it will be a huge insult.

Not all true though you're correct in the above examples. However, you're forgetting Toy Story 2, The Mummy Returns, Godfather Part II, and Lord of the Rings.

But my "inner sense" tells me that Shrek 2 will rock all the same. As long as they don't do a half-arsed job (like your examples above), they'll do fine.

LOTR doesn't count because all the movie were filmed at basically the same time. If you wait too long between movies, then you start comming up with wacky ideas such as making Gandalf a pimp.
 
Matirx was planned to be a trilogy i believe. Star Wars was origionally planned for NINE movies. You probably knew that tho.
