Indeed. I don't think he's a great guy - far from it. However:
1. If you thought it was cruelty, you could report him.
2. Do you really care about one rabbit hundreds, if not thousands of miles away? People eat rabbits all the time
3. If you think he's such a monster, why give him money? You'll only encourage people
4. What proof is there that he will or won't besides his word?
