id want to but no

EDIT: \/ \/ Dude is your teacher hot?!

YES YES YES. I have told my college tutor i will. And tbh..she said to me, aslong as ur up to date...you can have a few days off LOL!!! i think she was kidding tho, or she likes me

Graduated in May with a degree on my wall and nothing to do but play Half-Life 2 because nobody wants the "inexperienced"

I guarentee that as soon as Half-Life 2 release date gets announced, I will be called for a job. That's not bad, but it will be ironic.

I bet the only reason you have a tutor in college is because you skipped many days in high school to play half life 1. hahaha

lol I hear that mate

Ill take a can of soup and throw it in a blender then ill pour it into the toilet so it looks like i threw up.

I'll just tell my mom I have bad diarrhea, that usually works

then I'll go out and pick up HL2

Eh? Whats up with answer #2?

I'm not going to skip school because its too important.

But I'm certainly not going to vote #2 :dozey:

I would feel a sudden sickness come over me at work and would have to excuse myself

Same dilemma here... I'm so confused!

Skive eh? I'll add that one to my HL2 net comprehension dictionary.

Anyway, no I won't be skipping school. Priorities man.

Depends on the release date, if it's early Nov then I have exams and won't be playing it much. If it's late November then I won't need to wag. If it's October then I am in trouble.

Make sure to take it out of the can first. She would probably be a little suspicious if a bunch of metal shards were laying in the bottom of the toilet.

I WISH I COULD SKIP SCHOOL!! I'm going to be so hyped about it during school. That's all i'll be thinking of! :D

I pulled a sickie on the day Doom 3 came out.

The courier arrived with the package and I got up and said "Oh that's mine!"

To be honest my parents didn't question me about it though :D

Yep, I'll actually be waiting near my letterbox in my flat, sat on a chair with a cup of tea.

There may not be crumpets.

No, I prefer to wait after I get dismissed from school...that way, I get more hype and excitement built up.

since i only have one class on tuesdays, i don't really see the reason for skipping school

Well, I go to Uni and it does take much to convince me to skip a lecture.

im taking my hl 2 copy TO school, and show it of. so everyone wants to have it too and start a riot. tearing down the whole school !!! then il go home and play it for 12 months, the time it takes to rebuild the school. smart eh? i know.

edit: i voted no :cheese:

after u get half life 2, u should immediately pick up ur computer and throw it out the window. then run outside and gather the pieces and figure out how to put it all back together.

therefore, u've learned not only how to fix computers, but enhance the pleasure of playing hl2 after the deliberate delay.

there's my rationalization for the evening.

I'll probably be to hung over to go to class anyway. just like every morning.

ya i'm in college too. anyone that would skip a college class to buy a video game has problems

When Doom 3 came out I was holed up in my room for 3 days straight
However long HL2 takes to beat, I shall do the same.

Same. To be honest, I'm more worried about becoming a hermit and not going out of my room until I finish it - not even to go down the pub.

Omfg... LOL.

Anyway, we'd all like to take a week off or the likes, but then you got to show you aren't that weak. It's not clever to skip school or work just for a game, you can still play it when you come home or on weekends. OR... On actual free days.

True.. Still, though, I wouldn't function well during that day.

Which is why it's fortunate that classes don't start for me until late october...

No, I'll not be throwing a sicky.

Real life is far better an experience than a computer game.

well, my education is more inportent than a game though :/ so, no i wont

how come my vote options got edited, they werent that bad were they? :(

Hell no! If I do that i'll be playing 24/7 straight for two days.
I want HL2 to last long, veeeery long

Well to be fair going to school or work knowing that half life 2 is out there and people are playing it would make you a danger/healthrisk to your workmates. So its really beneficial to everyone to stay home and give that game a good hardcore session.
