Feath said:Well, I go to Uni and it does take much to convince me to skip a lecture.
el Chi said:I suppose the money you'd save by not going to the pub you could spend on HL2. Sorted
And for those on their high-horse claiming that we don't give a sh*t about our education; leave it out. One game isn't going to severely dent our chances on passing; missing one or two lectures hither and thither isn't going to cripple our futures. We can always borrow notes off other people, we can always catch up, you're not f*cked entirely by being occasionally lazy.
HL2 won't be a cause for me to miss lectures, more an excuse

El Chi said:And Feath you're right - it's so depressing to have come out of a lecture thinking "I gained f*ck-all from that. You wasted 50 minutes of my time and I want them back."
Never had a hungover lecturer before. Fingers crossed, eh. I have had some truly odd lecturers though - it makes things more interesting, but harder to pay attention.Feath said:Aye, awful feeling. Especially if the guy's really really boring and he's talking about something you already know. Or you're hungover. Hungover lectures are awful.
