hi. apparently with the ati card i got i get hl2 and loads of other valve games. i registered my code with steam. will i have to download them on steam (takes years) or do all of them get sent 2 me????

if it's about 2gigs, that's 6000 minutes of downloading roughly on 56k, so that's 100 hours, less than a week man. Preloading is scheduled to start on the 17th I believe... so relax and download (I'm assuming you're on a flat rate plan of course).

I thought you could get them mailed.. It takes 4-6 weeks though, so watch out!

Inkined, I feel your pain. I had 56k a few months ago.This is Dial-Up people, you can't just leave it on all week. Random disconnects and slow speeds (and I mean SLOW were talking 0.5- 3.5 kbs ) make it painfully difficult to download 2 gigs.

Trust me, even if your broke, broadband is worth every penny. You will be so happy when you get it.
