I'm sure this has been debated before, probably about a dozen times but it's been a while so I thought maybe we could gather some votes to implement images in personal signatures. All I'm asking is a simple yes or no reply.

Maybe a 400x100 or 500x100? : )

No, it'll just end up being one of these places where people get respect because of their photoshop talents rather than their writing.

No for a couple of reasons:

1. People will still make huge 200 x 5000 size sigs because there is no way to limit the size.
2. Even small sigs distract your attention and make it hard to read the posts.
3. I don't need to see everyones l33t skills with their pirated version of Photoshop every single minute. We have an art forum for that.

On the other hand, I would like images to be allowed in posts and want the "/me" command restored.

Well he pretty much covered it.I to want the /me thingy restored and images in post.

NO SIG'S! I have seen too many forums trashed with Sig's that distract the reading. And it all ends up in a sig flame in the end.

Fret ye not.... I'm bringing these things up.... the /me command will return. The reason IMG code went out of Off Topic is becuase people kept posting all sorts of silliness Other forums still have it

I seriously doubt image sigs will ever be allowed mainly for 2 of the reasons above.

1. It will take up a lot more bandwidth
2. People will make images with stupid sizes




Isnt the avatar enough? At least you can make your own and not have to pick from premade ones.
