This has got to be the FIRST time in the history of teh olde intarweb that an ARTICLE of game review has LEAKED to the internet.

That pretty much says it all how eagerly HL2 is anticipated.. :rolling:

oh ok.

Sooo this is the FIRST time in the history of blablabla that a FAKED review for a game is leaked to the net and still everybody is jumping on it and opening threads about it..

*cries in shame

no its not, its happened with other games and articles. Most recent ones that spring to my mind are DOOM3 and an article on EVE online.

i used to play EVE online, i was the CEO of a Corporation in Curse Alliance. One of the members of Curse Alliance worked for PC Gamer and wrote an article on EVE and the CA.

That was leaked to us (and not by the guy from PCG) just the same way the HL2 review was.

Actually there was a "leak" from PC Gamer US which was also a HL2 issue.

Some user had apparently gotten his issue a month early. Then he posted it on the internet. And almost got 0wned by PC Gamer.

*me remembers doom3 review..

*me remembers to think before posting..

egad! my brain hurts..

There have been several reviews/pictures for other games that have been scanned to the internet.

Any game that has high expectations is always likely to have media 'leaked' on a regular basis. HL2 is no different to Doom 3 or maybe even Far Cry.
