Silent Hill Movie interview

he wants to do a GTA game? WTF? How the hell would you do such a thing?

I find it amusing how he says he doesn't want to deal with the attitudes of men when he's a man, it's a case of blokes trying to write women realistically. Throughout history Men have never known what goes on inside a woman’s mind, but these guys think they've cracked it? Estrogen filled! What does he know about Estrogen!?

This has the potential of being a very silly film indeed

Ya know..I'll be pissed if they screw this one up..silent hill ranks as my favorite game I've played.

Pulp Fiction: One (main) female character.
Resevoir Dogs: No Female Characters.
True Romance: One (main) female character.
Rules of Attraction: Wasn't very good.

Silent Hill: Nearly all female characters.

He's proven he can write good male characters, but purposefully setting out to make a script "estrogen filled"? I'm not really getting at Avery here, just at the attitude of the director, Gans, who hasn't had a perfect track record.

You need a good writer, but you also need a good director to realize the script.
 
Yeah the book and the movie are great, I don't know what movie you saw mortiz.
 
im possitive this movie will be better than The Ring remake atleast :D

I was gonna pick up Glamorama the other day but intead got You Shall Know Our Velocity! by Dave Eggers, I've been meaning to read it for a long time
 
I hear Avary's supposed to make movies out of Glamorama and Glitteratti soon.

Maybe the question is: will Silent Hill make game designers more comfortable? Guys like Uwe Boll have done a lot of damage, and I don’t know that one good game adaptation will undo all of it.

It will for me, as Silent Hill is my Favorite horror game ever! (Possibly my most favorite game).
