Silver Hl2.net spray

Fancy Making me a nice Halflife2.net Avatar using teh Sniper Kitty!!!! :D

I just counted, I have made 40 customized Hl2.net logos thus far.
 
i just took the HL2 logo from uhm google images

i just made anotha 1... i kno the animation is slow... but i dont feel like redoing the animation, im 2 lazy

very cool meepz, reminds me of my psp days hehe. (used to create so many anims like that, good fun)

anywhoo, for further referance guys, this isn't a "show your sprays" thread, I made this with the express intention of making logos for hl2.net pride.

please Either post a logo request, or fulfill someone elses in this thread.
(for a hl2.net logo, has the www.halflife2.net addy on it)
otherwise people may miss thier logos being posted.
 
this is a general question about sprays here.
tonight i was in a server and could not see other players' sprays and they couldn't see mine.

now i checked the cl_allowdownload command and it was set to 1 so that wasn't a problem.. so why couldn't i see other sprays?

is there a server setting to disable sprays? cause thats the only thing i can think of.. :|

I had it in 1600 by 1200 size (My avatar is just the head of the person) But I have lost it! Im at work right now but Im going to have a look around for it when I get home (In about 4 hours or so). If not I have my old avatar full size I would use, I can post it when im home.

well if you haven't seen the spray before, you have to download it, so if someone has their allow_upload off then you wont see it regardless...

when we were in-game and I wanted to show you my spray (before I lost power) I had to upload the vmt to the server before you got it, it usually takes a round or two before you see sprays that you don't have.

ah.. okay i have my allow_upload command set to 1 now.
so i guess if pple want me to see their sprays, they gotta have that setting right as well.

I'm still using the Gold one redundant. But I noticed one strange thing with it before though. The white parts stopped being invisible on one server. They also turned BLACK for some reason? Any ideas what happened?

that is odd... is it consistent?

has this happened once or twice, or does it now happen everytime on any server?

also, did you ask for a custom spray?

I have been caught up this week, I know I still have to finish SixThree's (he is going to kill me soon)...

if I missed anyone, please repost and lemme know, the reason it isn't done is most likely that I missed/forgot your request (the thread got cluttered) or I started it and it is somewhere in the deep recesses of my HD
 
i want to make a new one but i find it difficult to achieve what i would like exactly. i wanted specifically to spray a blood sprite onto things, then animate it and make my name apear from out of the blood. i'd do this myself but i can't seem to find the right blood sprite file and make it look realistic. if someone could at least send me the bloodsprite file in tga format or w/e w/ transparency and all that would be awsome.

that is quite a bit of work, and you have to remember that for animated sprays you only have about 5 frames on average to work with (so you cant do all that much)

on an unrelated note, I am afraid my host is down, and I will not be able to use it for a while.
