Got that a few weeks ago for $59.99 for my new computer, my motherboard supports DDR2 1066, but my CPU is AM2 which only "supports" up to DDR2 800, the motherboard defaults the DDR2 1066 ram to DDR2 800, so I just "overclock" it to 1000mhz.

the clock speed for ram is 2x the fsb clock.

DDR - double data rate

2*533 = 1066mhz
