Singleplayer mods ?

the last weekswe all heard about mods for hl2, but i think every mod i have seen is a multiplayer mod. so i was wondering if there will be also singleplayer mods for hl2 because some sigkleplayer mods for hl1 were very nice .
so do u know a singlpl. mod that is planned ore will there just be mp mods ?
 
i cant remember any names but i am fairly sure there are a few. I think there is a WW2 single player mod being developed. I sugest you check around at Hl2central.net and City-17.net. Hope that helps :)

There's ALWAYS WW2 mods and games (and films, for that matter) - I wanna see WW1

You'd die in about 5 minutes in the game. Easy SP size though :D

Anyway, I've seen many... Its just that SP mods dont get quite a community like MP mods, even if they are better. Its not like its anything to think on now anyway :)
(note: yeah I know my MP mod doesnt even HAVE a community (1 person ;)) and some SP have far greater, but I was talking about it as a whole)
 
The Trenches is a ww1 mod for hl1, and soon hl2. Though it is true, if the game was realisticly made you would die like every few min before moving more than a few feet.

its like this-

spawn-die-spawn-die-spawn-shoot 1 bullet-die-spawn-die-spawn-shoot 1 bullet-kill 1 man-die.
 
I want a WW1 mod Young Indiana Jones style!!! (or blackadder, but that isnt much fighting ;))

even though I have to admit it'll be hard for me to get familiar with that...

I dont know any sp mods, but they're gonna be some pretty sure. Hl2 features such great physics, and they can only be fully used and integrated in an sp level imho.
Oh yeah, there is a hl1 remake mod being planned i think.

btw, I just installed hl again on my comp. I've been away from the scene for four years now, i dont know whats going on with the sp mod community. Anyone know the best sp mods that have been released until now? (for hl1 of course)

anyway, to the best of my knowledge, there are quite a few single player mods coming out for HL2 :)
 
I have 2 cool MOD ideas, I already have lots of fun features listed on a paper for the first. Actually I thought of the second earlier today, after I watched Phone Booth for the second time.
 
Cause And Effect is a SP mod that I'm helping to develop. Inspired by 28 Days Later, takes place in London England, there's zombies and guns, etc. etc. The backstory and stuff is all in our website, you can email me in my sig if you have questions or anything.
