The layout has changed a little to make things easier to find. I'll be looking at all our pages this week and hopefully updating them with new content. A few of our content writers are also working on some new reviews and other features for you so stay tuned.

It looks quite good, I would like to see a widescreen option for layout.

Nice work! A bit narrow currently. I'm liking the drop down menus.

Looks cool but the big blue buttons on the left are kind of distracting. They contrast too much.

Yeah, a widescreen option (or dynamic scaling, which would be easy except for the header image) would be nice. I'm using a widescreen monitor with 1680x1050 resolution and it barely takes up half the screen.

And I agree with Vegeta about the buttons, they stick out a bit too much.

Looks Great!

Maybe not a fluid option but a minimum of 1000px width would look better.

We are all gamers afterall :)

The content is laid out pretty decent but I'm not a fan of the buttons on the left

Looks good, will take me some time to get used to it tho.

So I guess I'm the only one who sees no difference?

I find funny the "changed to make things easier to find" and all the letters are in mayus and bold

Swish! Also yes, please do look into a widescreen option.

Still no front-page or direct forums link to the Social Groups feature.

My points from yesterday still stand.

It looks far better with content in it and it looks supremely better than the older layout. I like it.

Do you mean the community groups through the forum, or hl2.net Steam group?

The buttons on the left is a much better design than we had previously, if you guys think it's a little too brash, what would you like to see instead? Should we perhaps quieten down the colours on the side to more neutral blues?

We've also added a couple more interactive things on the front page, like the 'Release Radar' so people can keep up to date with the big incoming launches, and a poll...just for the fun of it. We'll cross link these to the forum for discussion and we will make these as topical as possible with input from what the community wants to talk about!

It would be good if the big "Halflife2.net" icon on the top of the page would direct to the front page rather than the forum index page. There isn't really any link to the front page that I know of, so I rarely even visit it. When I read this article I had to write the address myself, which I felt, was a huge task.

Looks really good! Yeah maybe some editing such as a widescreen option and it needs more orange. Need to update the sections such as the L4D one as well. :naughty: I vaguely remember the site having a poll at one point. I can't remember when but it did have a poll at one time right?

Menu's definitely better, but the colours could do with being slightly lighter. The hue's fine, it's just how strong they are compared to the rest of the page.

This was the only real issue I had with it. Also the banner's a bit too "brash". Might be because of the buttons.

They just stand out too much.

This I agree with, and this is how it used to be, but at some update it was changed to go to the forum index.

Can we expect a forum layout update anytime soon?

The new wiki layout looks much nicer, but I still can't edit pages. Anyone else having this issue?

I second the widescreen option. I commend the new of drop down buttons but may we change the font, and color? The current selection looks somewhat garish. Having everything in CAPITOL BOLD LETTERS WHILE IN BLUE RECTANGULAR BUTTONS looks a little out of place. It reminds me of a personal web page from the '90s. ALL CAPS as we all know echo shouting and because there is so much of it nothing is heard.

Awesome!

Love the new site layout, makes it a lot easier to navigate around the site and it's much clearer for reading without just a mound of text! As others are saying a widescreen version would be interesting to see, but looks great apart from that! Good Job GUYS!:):)

Looks really sweet. Even though people are saying "the site hasn't changed size" to the eye it seems a lot more narrow. The center bit (in my opinion) needs to be a bit wider, but apart from that it looks cool!

The entire strip is exactly the same size. It's almost exactly the same width as my Firefox window.

I think the content has decreased in size slightly. I prefer it, though, it makes it easier to read.
