Situation screwed

hey my leet friends,

I have 3 tests on nov 18th, and Half-life 2 is released here on Nov 17th! Double you tea eff??!?!??! I go out and buy the game, set it on the counter, and break open the books??!?! I need some suggestions on how to pass these tests yet break out the Half-life 2 on release day!?!??!

^other way round. school should come first...plus you dont get that sort of 'oh ill just play another hour then do my work' all the time, and then never do the work in the end lol.

my advice is to not even open the hl2 box before your exams. You've waited years for HL2 and you can wait another day. I don't know at what level of education you are at but grades matter, they are important. Do you really want to risk damaging your fall grades so you can play a game a few hours earlier?

Yeah, study your best. If you are in the last or one of the last grades, which I assume you are, it really matters. Believe me, if you break in to the temptation to play "for a bit", it will be bad. Even if you stop playing, you'll still be thinking about the game.

So wait anoter day... do your tests... and then play HL2 all you want. I myself know that I probably will be very busy on the 17th and 18th, will be lucky if I can get 4 hours in, during both days... but never mind that .

Study for a good hour, take a break (thats where HL2 comes in), then continue studying. Lets hope HL2 is crap so you don't get to distracted =P

er i wouldn't suggest playing HL2 till after your exams, yah might spend your time saying "I'll play for just afew more hous, just a littttlllee bit more". And then, the next day is exam day and your fu*@#*@#!ed!!!
