My team desperately needs a Skinner for weapons, characters, prefabs etc. for the duration of the remainder of the mod's development cycle.
This may possibly be a PAID position (on a skin to skin basis) depending on the quality and skill of the individuals work and portfolio.
Currently we have tons of coders, couple of modelers, a GUI programmer, audio DJ w/ soundstage and sketch artists.
I cant reveal much about the mod as we want its initial beta release to be a "suprise". But I can reviel that the mod will feature guns, characters, vehicles, and prefabs, all of which need to be skinned.
Some things we are looking for...
-Willingness to work on a mod that WILL be completed (for once)
-Ability to create photorealistic textures using a program like Photoshop. (UV Mapping not required but appreciated)
-The tollerance to get bossed around by me (joking of course)
Were located in the Baltimore DC corridor and a skinner in that region would be greatly appreciated but is not required.
Since I cant reviel any content I need to make sure that it is clear that we are serious about this mod. We've been actively working on the mod for a couple months now but started its planning when HL2 was first announced. Most of the team (about 12 people) is either a Computer Science Graduate or a graphical arts graduate.
Some of us have professional jobs in graphics or game design (myself included) and have devoted ourselves to complete this project in our spare time.
