Sliding Down Ladders![New Feature Found!]

I just found out about this yesterday! I was playing gulf of oman and i was ontop of the building and i was trying to get down and i was kept pressing pressing "W" rapidly which is the opposite to go down and i suddenly slid down the ladder! was sooo cool! I denno if this was posted but check out my 2 videos. One is in 3rdperson(4mb) and the second movie is in 1st person(3mb).

btw- this works on all levels not just oman,lol

Ah dude, that's pretty damn cool!

Usefull for all those times when you want to jump off a building, but fear being seen by others.

I wanna go try it but it takes almost 15 minutes for me to start up BF2 and get into a game, and im tired. Il check it out tomorow, i hope it works because i always have hated how damn slow you go down the ladders.....

This was found out over at totalbf2 a long time ago.

To slide, you hold sprint and go down.

yeh, its a good feature- i find it easier to do it faster using the shift key.

Dunno about roll, but diving is just if you hit z while running forwards I think...

I think rolling is just an animation thing, if you prone while moving sideways etc.

k that makes sense ...it's not very effective cuz it leaves you vunerable

my 9800 pro is still in shipment, should arrive today.. unfortunately there was no mix up and they didn't send me a x800 instead... *sigh* ah well.

been spending a lot/all my time with my GF (the woman I am going to marry) been really enjoying life.

the card *should* arrive today sometime, I might be down for some gaming today, dependant on when it gets here (tomorrow Im going to be out with her and friends)

didnt you meet her just last month? that's a little fast ...I had a rule (I'm married) ...I wouldnt get married till I was 10 years into the relationship...that way there's no surprises

I've taken to hammering 99999 whenever I jump out a chopper, and that usually does it.... but still... dodgy

That's just how it works. I bound R to parachute so I can hammer away at it without moving my hands.

I'm guessing you're pulling the cord more than once, and hoping that it opens.

But that's going by the "IT'S MORE THAN A GAME AND EVERYTHING HAS TO HAVE A REAL WORLD EXPLANATION" factor. It's most likely poor coding on DICE's part.

But my chute always opens. So I don't think about it too much.

I think it's only supposed to work after falling a certain height, so people will mash the parachute button because its just the easy thing to do.
