Slow FPS

I m playing Half life 2 episode 2....I'm a great fan of this game but in this episode I'm experiencing very slow movements and keyboard, mouse inputs processing!
It take almost 3-4 seconds for bullet to reach enemy from my gun :dozey:
The condition is such that after playing this game for hours even fps of my own vision start to get slow down
please tell me a any solution urgently!
my system configuration is
Intel core 2 duo E4500 @ 2.20ghz
2 gb ram
directx 11
windows 7 32 bit
internal 256mb video card

Well, that's a fairly weak computer. Buy yourself a video card.

Your system is severely bottlenecked (limited) by your GPU. Any card over $30 these days will run HL2 flawlessly.
