Slowmotion in games.

I just really like when they implant slowmotion in games(and movies).
All trough it sometimes can slow down the action.

What I was wondering was, anyone know some good games out there with slowmotion in them?

Well, it slows down the action, but in a cool way.

I dont think games like call of duty would use it that well, since it realy a lot on action, fast action. But that is my opinion.

Call of Duty uses it to great effect when you get hit knocked to the ground by an explosion. This is very uncommon in Call of Duty 2, unfortunately.

Call of Duty doesn't have slow motion. When you get near-hit by artillery, your vision turns blurry and moves erraticaly, sound becomes muffled and distant, and your character walks much slower than usual. But if you pay close attention to your surroundings, you'll see that the world is still moving at normal speed.

Max Payne 2's slow motion-effect is very cool imo. Especially if you got a weapon equipped (doesn't matter what gun it is) and try to reload, then it goes into this extremely slow speed and the camera turns around while Max does a 360 spin.

i am in the process of making a version of the specialists for the source engine, it wont be called the specialists but it will be the same game, but for source, i dont know if it will work but im giving it my best shot in the two hours a weekend i have free.

so although the specialists group dont want a version of ts for source i do!

i may call it "face off : source"... if it ever gets finished

Viewtiful Joe, Donald you have a PS2, you can buy this game for only 10,- now. Best use of slomo in a game imo. Only thing is, some boses are incredibly hard, so if you do not like to spend 3 hours on one boss play it on easy. And it has some very, very cool extra's once you play it trough.
Anyway, it can be hard, but it's mostly very fun.

Thats called plaugerism

its only plaugerism if i call it "the specialists source", i suggest you bone up on your laws before posting, as long as i call it something else i can hijack any idea and use it, if this wasnt possible then there wouldnt be many films out to watch or games to play. think about it.

if the specialists team dont want a matrix style mod for source there is nothing stopping anyone from doing it, as long as it doesnt refer directly back to the specialists.

i checked with a chief prosecutor... :stare:

and if the people at hollywood dont like me using "face off" i can use any other name i can think of ( "face on" for example.. but that sucks donkey donuts ) , but i doubt they will care, or even notice.
