I did. I was simply responding to your comparison here. ;)

well if you think about it...

x800pro - 6800GT
x800xt - 6800U
x800xt-pe - 6800EE ?
Just making sure you knew it is:
X800Pro - 6800GT
x800XT PE - 6800U

then why did you want to tell me the price ranges of the cards, which i stated in the previous post lol.
why did you have a quote of somebody from nvidia saying they didnt make the EE, which i also said in my post.

but just because nvidia doesnt make the EE's directly they arnt compared like that. that, and including the different price range.

ah well....thanks for telling me something i knew then. :rolling:

anyways, what goes against the x800xt (not pe) in your opinion?

in my opinion though u probably dont care.

x800pro - 6800gt
x800xt-6800u
x800xtpe-6800uee

but then again what the hell do i know :-P

yeah thats what i think also, but because the EE isnt made by nvidia and the price is a little more than the xtpe they are not compared like that. crazy i think.

but ah well.

and just for people hating me's sake

gt pwns pro
xt and u are sorta on the same level
x800xtpe and uee cant really compare but i think the uee would have the advantage.

O_O i cant believe my ears...guinny is actually saying some shit with logic. i actually agreed with two post of his, IN A ROW! lol...the world is coming to an end :rolling: :rolling:

ah well...i cant dissagree with anybody saying all the new cards, 6800's and x800's simply ****ing own. :D

Yea I hope my xt pe will take me through at least another year of games. otherwise im fresh outta luck.

Now that's some logic I like to hear.

Its kind of scary when a the worst "new high-end graphics card" (X800 Pro) can still play Far Cry at 1600x1200 with 4AA and 8AF and still have frame rates above 30 FPS. :E

At 1280x1024 maxed settings 6xAA 16xAF with my x800pro i can play FC with above 30fps constantly except when i zoom in with the binoculars...i think thats because its rendering everything around me at maxed detail and the things im zoomed in on as well...probably more basic to just say "like running two farcrys"

:bounce: So if the x800 XT is $499 how much all together with 8.250% tax?

My built-in calculator says $5.40. /sarcasm
Wait...I have to use it right first. ;)

$540.17

BTW that should be for the X800XT PE. :O

$540.1675

You might try ordering from an out-of-state online retailer, or heading up to Oregon. Almost worth it.

Hot Hardware did a great review.
They compared a 12 pipeline 6800, 12 pipeline X800Pro, and the 16 pipeline 6800GT.
They showed benchmarks for each step as they applied different patches.
First going from DX9b to DX9c, FarCry 1.1 to 1.2 patch, and then SM2.0 vs SM3.0.
The biggest gains were from the game patch itself, not the DX9 or SM patches.

Benchmark Summary: When using the SM 3.0 path, the 12-pipe GeForce 6800 was able to outperform a 12-pipe Radeon X800 Pro in only two, lower-resolution tests with AA and Anisotropic filtering disabled. When AA and Aniso were enabled, the X800 Pro outpaced the 6800 across the board. The GeForce 6800 GT, however, beat the Radeon X800 Pro in all of the default tests, as well as when 4X AA was enabled. It was only when anti-aliasing and Anisotropic filtering were enabled concurrently that the X800 Pro was able to score a few victories over the GT.
