Small question in XSI

Hey all, Ive searched the forums, and I've looked everywhere i can think of, but how do i get my model I created in XSI (a M1 Garand in this case) to be lying on a surface ? Like in the Q2 Grenade launcher post. Thanks in advance.

Make a plane right below it. Then I think you have to rotate it to get it to lay down

Have you tried Get -> Primitive -> Polygon Mesh -> Grid?

instead of starting a new post, one more question, how can i take a screenie within xsi so i can post some of my art ?
