Smoke and flashbangs

Just wondering:
If you throw down a smoke grenade, then stand before the smoke and throw a flashbang through, does the smoke protect you from the effect of the flashbang?

really doubt it and yeah - the easier way to find out would be to test...although you will look a little foolish just blinding yourself like that

It flashes you still..
A very used tactic in clan matches.
Throw a smoke and then throw a flashbang in.. They never know what happened.

Quick unrelated question. You can die from a flashbang, but can a smoke grenade to the head kill you? (when you have like 1 health left, just so there's no confusion)

Smoke nades don't really 'go off' like the other two. I would think they would do no more damage than a cinder block blown at 200MPH across the map..... btw... why does a cinder block blown at 200mph across the map not hurt. I think that'd be be sweet if it did.
