not becouse iam too lazy to go to the store .. but untill the game will get to israel ill get crazy :bounce:

That's the theory, yes. Dont know if you want it though... It will probably take just as long to get it retail :)

Of course you can. When it is released world wide through steam, everyone can get it. Dawdler I guess I trying to predict the server overflow it will cause.

It is possible, but Valve is working on getting more content servers before then. I doubt it will kill Steam like what happened last week where 500,000 people attempted to dl everything at once.

I wish they would let a company from australia to host a content server for us. (stuped download caps :| )

Why do Australian ISPS charge for bandwidth. Is there a monopoly over there? And I thought BT were bad with controlling prices.

Have they mentioned anything about the Sp/Mp version over Steam? For example are they selling both types or just one?

Well, there's an Ausgamers content server. It might not be free downloads for your ISP (it's not for mine, Netspace), but at least it's fast.

Anybody know if you can specify which content server you'd like to connect to, or at least give a preference?

They use to have free bandwidth here, but in australia there isnt as much people over a wide spread area (japan has more people in tokyo :\ than whole australia i think)

People abused it when there was no download caps for cable broadband.
costing companies to much money, so they put a cap on.

But lucky now Gamearena is hosting a content server for us telstra users, meaning not wasting tons of our usage just to play :D

Heh, there is a monopoly in a sense, damn Telstra. It's getting better though, there are some places offering unlimited bandwidth, but I hear the service is pretty dodgy. I'd say it'll start becoming standard over the next year or two though (finally!)

Edit: Oh, and I found out that Ausgamers is free for my ISP after all, yay! If only we could actually set a preference for what content server to use...

They have unlimited for adsl but for cable+ it will always be capped at some usage limit.
