How ridiculous. I was minding my own business when this guy walks up to me and says, "Move, I wanna sit here." I knew this guy. I hated him, but I never made anything of it. I told him, "No, sit over there. It's right across from me." So he starts getting physical. First he slaps my shoulder. It was just a slap, I didn't really care. Then he slaps me again. I looked at him, and then he grabs my neck with one hand and starts choking me. So, now I get the hint that he wants to start something. At this point, I couldn't ignore him anymore and I hit his face, put him in a headlock, and brought him to the ground. He was at my mercy now, and I hit him about 6 times in several places on the head. But he started to cower, so, thinking I had done some serious harm, I got off him and left him alone. I was pretty sure he was finished, but he got up and said, "<insert explicit 4-letter word here> you". He knew I was unprepared, and just as I open my mouth to say something, he throws a cheap shot and hits me in the eye, catching me off guard. Now I was prepared. I had the meanest look I think I've ever had and he started backing away. He's telling everyone he "kicked my ass" because he managed to make my eye swell. I got 6 hits on him and he hit me once. Keep in mind, while I was on him, I could've beat him senseless. Now I'm having trouble explaining this to the school, my parents, and his parents.

I'm confused, was I justified in hitting him as he was choking me? Or could things have happened another way? I really had no reason to leave my seat as their was another one not too far away, and he basically tried to bully me out of my seat. What the hell -_-

What you did wrong, instead of hitting him, politely have asked him to hold on a second, pull out your phone, dial 911, and tell them you are getting assault. You win!

hooray! thas what i wouldve done...

no but really what you did was right, you were just protecting yourself...but didnt anyone see you kicking his ass?

We both had friends that were just standing by, I think they were just in shock of what was happening, since this was the first fight I've been in since starting school, and they knew.

them kick his ass

if he get away of you just cuz you looked angry or something like that maybe he is scared of you

the same thing happened to me
but the guy was way bigger than me so he won
i managed to get some hits on him
it hurts to think about it lol

I'm a bit confused here- you're saying the Generic Arsehole claimed he beat you up, yet you're getting some sort of parent/school-related flak for fighting him? Just let the world know what Arsehole did, and everyone'll know he's talking blatant crap as well as thinking you were justified in your actions.

It's a friggin' chair- Arsehole needs to realise that if he wants a relationship with it he'll have to have his way with the furniture outside of school hours. Flaming git.

have another fight with him, and do some damage this time, let the school know not to mess with you. even tho you sound like a nice guy :D

You were justified in hitting him while he was choking you. By my system, however, you were not justified in hitting him 6 times while he was on the ground. But by the sound of things, this ****er probably had it coming from someone else if not you, so whatever.

Wait it out. See what happens. If this has happened before to some other kids, you've already won.

hey steve .. when you change your name :D?

back on topic, nail him tommorow. or make him look stupid, embarrass him

You should have beat his groin to a pulp so that he could never reproduce, then as I see it, you win.

Take up boxing or kickboxing and show him who is boss. You don't need guys like him pushing you around. It's not really worth it getting into fights if you're a good students, but you need to show people that you're not something they should mess with. Here's a little trick:
If he throws a punch out of nowhere in front of you, hit his punch with an elbow-strike. Get it instinctive, you don't want to do Karate and stall in front of a real situation.

The way it sounds, he did show him who was boss..[nicely done by the way ]

Don't worry about it though...you did the right thing. If he was choking you, you've got every right to beat the crap out of him.

you gave him several chances to stop and he wanted more. You never know when to lay into em fully, but this ones an ass. you were right, its just too bad you didn't kick his ass harder. sorry bud :dozey:

yeah you could take up martial arts, they teach you to stand off from your opponent, defend the punch/strike and attack if necessary.

its helped me out anyway ;)

Yea, I'm thinking about that right now, so I could learn to defend myself better than I did. What do you guys recommend?

If you take up martial arts, train realistically. Some disciplines have you punch air. If you do get into a real fight, you could be screwed. That's why things like sparring, boxing or kickboxing are useful, you get real data. You are pitted against an opponent and get a realistic feel. Anyways, I'd recommend any form of boxing:
Boxing, Muay Thai (I really want to get into this one), Muay Boran (deadly), Savate, Bando, Lethwei.
This may be off-topic, but does anybody know any Muay Thai places in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada?

It's a few blocks away and it teaches a form of Hapkido. Another place about 15 minutes away teaches Tae Kwon Do. I wanna know more about what you guys think though.

I've seen Muay Thai and that looks really interesting.

Go for it, it's better than nothing. Muay Thai is really hard to get. I've found some, but they're pretty far.
I'd say Tae Kwon Do, it has sparring. I'm not sure about Hapkido, I used to do it, but my teacher wasn't very good and I didn't like it. I'm doing something else right now, but I'm trying to see if I can do boxing or something.

Ok. Seeing as that Hapkido class is conveniently located and after reading what it is all about, it looks like I may be taking that.

Cheers.

Such violence for one punk-ass kid. What the hell are you going to do? Beat the crap out of him.

That'll make the situation much, much better.

Right now you have the advantage because you didn't start the fight, he did. You have witnesses. The faculty can see that you got harmed. Psychological power is where it's at. You're winning. He has little argument, if any, to back himself up.

But if it doesn't work, yea, beat the crap out of him. You already got the upper hand. He's not as good a fighter as you've already seen. Use whatever means necessary.

I bet you really got into a fight with your pillow. He said he was going to tell your mother how much you touch yourself. Admit it.

Next time you get in a fight just kill the man.

Umm...

My reply is pretty much the same as everyone elses. Take up a martial art (i never did, but i train with knives) and really get good at it. Don't be stupid like me and train with knives and guns, becuase unless you have one on you always, you are pretty much screwed. Also, if he keeps bugging you, threaten him with a fight.

You did the right thing.

And martial arts are great.

I'm surprised. I thought I was going to be met with a whole bunch of "What do you want, a medal?" replies. Cool bunch

Next time you get in a fight just kill the man

Looks like it's gonna be that way. That one punch he landed turned me into Disney's Quasimodo. Can't let him get away with that. :bounce:

I guess I won in the end, all the girls were feeling sorry for me. :dork:

I've been hit randomly before, ever since i've been waiting for it to happen again cos i wanna bust some bones through flesh, the next one to mess is gonna be a fool.

In your situation, if he asks for the seat, i'd stand up, pick up the chair by the legs then wrap it round his head, then drop it on his out cold face, and laugh like a pirate. Don't worry its only illegal if he remebers.

He probably just has a crush on you and wanted to flirt.

Seriously, nice job beating the shit out of him if you're not stretching the truth. Hopefully it'll all work out :)

I'd just walk up and punch him in the face again, you're under 18 so who cares no charges as an adult lol, I'd do it, just say that he called you a ****** or something

good for you :D.

whatever martial art you take its gonna teach you how to defend yourself in them situations :)... tae kwon do is supposed to be good, one of my friends do it.

i do ju jitsu, the trainers really do a good job, if i get too black belt i cud enter competitions like UFC (ultimate fightingchampionship), but thats ina few years

lol school is awlys full of drama i remember my first fight if you can make them look like a dumb ass before they fight you thats 10 points if you can put them down in 2 hits 20 points wussy headlock -10

I'm pretty competent in Muay Thai, and it feels good to know that if someone starts something, I can end it by rocketing my heel into their head.

I understand the Ju Jitsu has grappling. Are you allowed to punch people?

its not all about grappling, its deadly punches and chops too, the instructor has winded and hurt me at times, but its all too toughen me up. :dozey:

What you did was definately right. In fact, you should have punched the daylights out of him the moment he slapped your shoulder.

I belive what you did was right, just self defence.

Sure, slapping aint jack, but asoon as they go for the neck or anything that may cause some serious injury, those F__Kers are going down.

Though personaly, after htting him a few times I'm the kind of guy who makes threats and also follows through with them.

I spike my fingernails so I can play guitar better, but, if I were you, I would have done the following:

The guy is now under my controll pretty much, he's cowering, hes from what I can tell givving up, but im the kind of f-ker who likes to make sure people remember that if this crap happens again, i'll seriously screw them up. Pull up extra hand, show spiked finger nails, put them directly infront of his eyes, about half a inch away to be exact and say, "I dont spike my nails for just guitar you know." and then slowly jab them into the soft skin around the eye, not enough to fully break the skin, but to leave a small mark to remind him that I mean buisness.

Am I the only one who likes to go directly for the sensitive most painfull areas?
