It was AMAZING
Only a few problems with it such as Bethesda and it's inability to put monsters OUTSIDE dungeons
That was really the only problem

The game gets a 11 out of 10 easily
Sorry if this was pointless i'm just so happy i beat it X3

Game is ok....but no way in shit is it 11/10.

6/10 maybe

STFU Kenji.

if fallout 3 is an 11/10 then fallout 2 is 1653290682346908/10

Fallout 3 is entertaining me a lot, then again I though Oblivion was enjoyable too (yeah I said it) so maybe that's just how I am.

Once I got the schematics for the Rock-It Launcher, things really went up hill, what a great weapon. I can see some comparison to the gravity gun in terms of being able to throw junk as a weapon, but the Rock-It Launcher is more over the top.

It's just hilarious launching a teddy bear, or a plunger at someone's face and their ****ing head explodes.

Meh, Fallout 3:

Good sides:

* ****ing amazing environmental art direction. Retrofuturistic Washington DC? <3
* T-4x Power Armor, it grew on me, especially after Ausir pointed out that the armour in Van Buren wasn't the T-45d
* Some clothing/armour design (especially Enclave's officer uniforms and Autumn's trenchcoat)
* Atmosphere in downtown DC (long as you forget that it's supposed to be 200 years after the war)
* Museum of Technology and backstory within
* Outcasts
* Protectron, Sentry Bot and Mr. Handy II
* Rivet City
* Chinese presence in mainland America
* Car design (long as you forget they're supposed to be atomic cars)
* Deathclaws

Bad sides:

* Godawful plot
* Pathetic writing, especially the [Intelligence] responses. Or rather, [Captain Obvious] responses
* Bad quest design
* Horrible NPCs
* Brotherhood of Steel on the East Coast
* World feels more like 2097 not 2277
* World that feels more like an amusement park not a living gameworld
* Incoherent world
* Lack of choices and consequences
* EXPLODO-CARS
* Fatman
* Supermutants
* Butchered SPECIAL
* Bullet-time, err, VATS

Main thing i liked about FO3 was the environments as Grizzly said
And really all i did was the Main Quest so i'll have to go back through and just explore

Looking back on it, I'm not even sure why I kept playing.

Left4Dead has a better story and it doesn't even have a story.

Yes, but some people prefer the free roam option over the fast pace, you see.

I wish they made stalker like FO3, in terms of the mapping that is...nothing else entirely. I would quite enjoy walking around ukraine without a short range of areas and load times.

But until then, i still haven't enjoyed FO3...

I just recently picked it up and have been playing through it. So far it's fun and a good enough game in its own right, but as a Fallout title it falls short. Keep in mind this is a game I was giving the benefit of the doubt up until purchase.

The game part is great. The environments are beautifully realized. But the characters, the dialogue, and the universe feel disconnected, stiff, lifeless, and frankly poorly written for a lot of it. It doesn't capture what made the first two games memorable to me.

I'll fondly remember FO1&2 as the immersing and satisfying experiences they were. FO3 will be remembered as an entertaining, but broken blip on my gaming timespan.

Well that's Bethesda for you Absinthe they always repeat things
Hell i've noticed music from Oblivion in Fallout 3

It was fun but probably the stupidest ending.. You can't even continue on with your game and play more missions.. Stupid.

* Pathetic writing, especially the [Intelligence] responses. Or rather, [Captain Obvious] responses

Dont forget the [speech] options which kind of amounted too

NPC: No Im sorry I can't tell you/do that!
You: Cmooooooooon
NPC: Oh well since you put it that way, sure!

Meh well hopefully given time all these rabid fans armed with the GECK can make something beautifully... nuked.

Free roamin' is good and all but not when there's not really anything to do.

I beat it too and would have kept playing if it saved your stats when you start a new game too bad.

Well i've got good news and bad news
Good news is that the Diabolical Weapons are awesome
The BAD news is that my Chinese Dude with a Comb-over, goatee and Mustache just died

Dont forget the [speech] options which kind of amounted too

NPC: No Im sorry I can't tell you/do that!
You: Cmooooooooon
NPC: Oh well since you put it that way, sure!

The pinnacle of which is the "confrontation" with Eden.

PC: "You're a bad boy, you should kill yourself"
Eden: "Why?"
PC: "Pretty please?"
Eden: "Ok."

This game is probably the best game I've played in a long time.

Game's ****ing shit. Except the exploration, then everything else about the game can go fester in a pool of its own shit.

Well, you like Gears of War and Dead Space, so...

I really enjoyed it. First game for a while to really draw me in and I had tons of fun exploring and exploding heads far and wide

Yeah this. I haven't been arsed playing the other games I got recently, notably Gears 2 and Dead Space. FO3 just has my attention atm really. 50 hours played already.

In my experience, willy has terrible taste in games anyways.

Game is not shit, just because it's not exactly what the devs promised, doesn't mean anything. It would've been amazing, but now it's just an ok game.

With a shitty ending.

I enjoy the game a lot, the little missions are neat stories within themselves.

IE: Giant Ants in city, Ghouls in Tunnels, Robco Factory hacking, etc.
