any other epic and bloody samurai anime out there?

I really liked Sword of the Stranger and Death Frenzy as well infact theyre are next on my blurau buy list....

You have seen Seven Samurai, right? It's a brilliant vintage movie.

Yeah it's not anime. Can't really think of much in the way of Samurai anime. Well, they made an anime Seven Samurai called 'Samurai 7', but I never heard particularly great things about it. I've seen the Samurai X OVAs (Rurouni Kenshin) but wasn't that awesomed out by them tbh.

/wikipedias it: Oh, Trust and Betrayal IS Samurai X? Meh.

Technically, Princess Mononoke counts, but if you haven't seen that, you've failed before you've even jumped.

people keep on talking about Seven Samurai I shall check this out I have Princess Mononoke on DVD btw I'm a huge Ghibli fan.


oh btw it seem as if Trust and Betrayal is the prequel to the samurai x series which I sadly never finished watching.
