So I've failed.

ok I read that wrong. still, you're too young to decide whether you really want to die for your country

He doesn't want to die for his country, but to make the other bastard die for his.

@Numbers Looking at your grades it seems very weird to me that the KMA didn't let you in. Maybe go for NCO in stead of officer?

true however the other guy wants the same out of him

it's really a simple explanation ..he answered "yes" when they were looking for a "no" in this exam question

"are you sexually attracted to your commanding officer"

I was just teasing him. You understand it however you want, I'm only concerned with what he thinks, but maybe I owe him an apology.

You'd better, if you don't want to receive an envelope full of sneezes.

You can't compare the US military aptitude test to the Korean military aptitude test, honestly they're not even close to the same league.

Maybe so, but the fact that I scored so exceptionally well, you need a 20 something to get in, and I scored a 98 or some ludicrous crap like that.

Honestly, I thought it went without saying that his achievements were extraordinary. Highest score ever recorded? What can I say? So I figured I'd tease him instead of praise him, and so on. Can't you tell by my text that I was talking in an unusual teasing voice when I said it?

If you poke at someone, you are much more likely to get a response than if you praise them. And I want a response so we have something to work with to assist him.

So, Numbers, what are your alternatives? I'm forcing you to think of other options instead of dwelling on a failure.

God, I'm such a Dick. (not serious Eejit)

Actually, I think Virus is right, I should have studied harder, since I didn't really have any contingency plans if I'd failed. :p

Anyway, yeah, I have other options. Thankfully, the KMA saw fit to take applications months before other universities did, so I have several other options.

Korea University
Yonsei University
Seogang University

etc.

I suppose I could always go ROTC there, and become an officer at the end of school. However, the problem is that I wouldn't be able to major in the things that interest me the most, like IT or Computer Engineering.

Also, as I've said before, foreign universities don't appeal to me because I want to go to a university in my country, and not pass up the chance to do ROTC here.

I've always wanted to have a career in the military, and the KMA was really the only real chance I had at that, mainly because it's hard to stay in the military if you're ROTC.

NCO.... well that would really strain the relationship between me and my parents. They didn't want me to go to the KMA, and they have high expectations of me. :/

Ah well, thanks guys.:D

Korean writing on helicopters looks awesome for some reason.

Try to be open minded. Can you consider taking IT classes at a technical school? IT would be a safer and better paying career than the military, but perhaps having the IT education would also open some doors for you in the military.

Looks kind of alien...

Bad luck on the failure numbers. I know your dreams to become a military emperor ruler of our quadrant of the galaxy was always priority one.

Understandable you didn't study hard enough with all those gorgeous korean girls drowning your sanity and ability to reason with their aromas... their seductive bodies and suggesting grins. God almighty.

You were to wear a glowing blue cape to signify your emperiority and your shoulders would have blades, blades like Shredder. You must rise from the ashes of this defeat!!!! /clenches fist at the universe

IMHO a mind as sharp as yours is wasted on a military career. Science & technology FTW!

What wouldn't I give to have your dedication and smarts.. I still kinda regret that I didn't get through the IIT entrance test.
