I saw this on his personal facebook page. He was art director and conceptual artist at Valve since Half-Life 1.
I don't know if he's working at any other company or has gone retired. I wish him best of luck.

Well, that's a shame. I always found his work inspiring, since he basically designed every living creature in the Half Life series. I wonder if he will stay in the industry though. Anyway, best of luck.
