So my DVI decided to not work.

I recently built a new PC with a 6800GT, and I was happily playing Counter-Strike in DVI when all of a sudden, I decided to restart my PC.

The horror.

I clicked restart, and it powered down. Then, nothing. It just sat there, glowing at me. I pressed the on button and the case fired up into a frenzy of fan spinning and humming, the screen was blank, so I waited.

The screen stayed black.

After I had calmed myself down, I decided to switch it to VGA, the monitor fired up. The problem is, DVI has decided to not to work, and I wondered if the good people are Halflife2.net had any solutions for this, I have not yet tried a different DVI cable, as I do not own a spare, but this will change in the near future. I also realise that I have not posted all my PC specs, please tell me which ones you would like to know about.

Thanks in advance,

SnR

What's wrong with VGA? Just use that.

It's about 1% worse.

I paid for DVI. Why should I accept that I can't do somethings my card is supposed to be able to do?
