It's like natural destruction targets my dad's siblings.

lol they're okay though, they were out of town when it burnt down (it went all the way to the ground :P That sucks)

Thread topic: Who's had house burnage occur before?

Only carpet burnage when I was messing around with a magnifying glass.

My Mom's car caught on fire... we pulled next to a police station and it burnt the siding off...

I am a pyromaniac, but it wasn't me.

Good to hear they're okay. :)

Ouch, that's terrible... but at least no-one was hurt :)

The closest I've come to burning my house down was when I left a book next to my lamp (which gets very hot). The book... set on fire. There was smoke everywhere. I dodn't really want to wake my parents, so I put the fire out, and stuffed the book in a shoebox. There. Was. Smoke. EVERYWHERE. The shoebox what like a special effects smoke dispenser that they use in filming. I think I ended up throwing it out the window... lol :P

We've never actually had a fire in the house before. I think the closest was when my Mum burnt the Fish Finger's.

Suicide, your story reminds me of this:

Back when I was doing my first media studies project in Year 10, we needed to have some flames. So we brought in some matches and plundered a dumpster at the back of the school where someone had dumped a load of old documents and, luckily, an aerosol can. We took them, filled up a cardboard box with them and set them on fire. I had to lug a massive bucket of water all the way up the hill. Anyway, we'd done what needed to be done when suddenly idiot-boy, nothing to do with us but tagging along, takes the aerosol can and sprays it all over. Big flames. Sets the grass on fire and we had to pour that bucket of water everywhere. Then we had to stamp on the box for about five minutes. By which time someone noticed that a patch of grass was on fire, and we had to rush down for more water. When we got back up, the box was full in flames again. Argh. :x

My sisters friends trailor * yes I was trailor trash back in the day* cought fire, burnt just about all the way down. I ended up sifting through the rubble, found a great condition picture of her, and kept it, because I had a crush on her.
