So My XBOX360 Won't Play Half Life 1?

I Honestly admire anyone how can play Half-Life on the PS2, i could never complete it with a joypad. It was tough enough with the keyboard and mouse.

Yes but on the console Co-Op and Vortigaunt missions are all canon, so you get a little more of the overall story.

Alyx was around during HL1 and was saved by the Gman for his own unforseen resons. She was only a baby. You've just been learned sucka.

halfgixxerbill, just like most others have said in this thread, get it on PC. I'm a console gamer myself, Orange Box on 360 is awesome and i can't fault it one bit. However, HL1 on PS2 is an absolute bastard. The lack of auto-saves will drive you up the wall when you die for the stupidest of things. It does happen.

Seriously, hit up this link, and download the Steam software. Register and all that other crap, and click the Store tab. Search Half Life and for $15 (or just over ?7 if you're in the UK like me) you can have Half Life, Team Fortress Classic, Half Life: Opposing Force and Half-Life: Blue Shift. This is much better value for money than anything you'll find for the PS2 right now.

I only did this myself this week, having played the the Half Life games the dirty way (on consoles). I'm pretty glad i've gone with Steam now, because on top of Half Life, the only game i wanted originally i've picked up The Quake Collection and The Commandos Collection which are all awesome themselves.

Seriously, i can't recommend it enough. Do it. Now. Stop reading this post. Go do it
