So this only takes place in City 17?

can anyone confirm this? I hope there are more places you visit than just City 17.

Yes that is what the Gamespot interview said.

Robin Walker: We don't want to spoil any surprises by getting into specifics. But to answer this in general terms, the entirety of the episode is set in City 17, and the driving force is the fact that, thanks to Gordon's actions at the end of Half-Life 2, the Citadel is about to give up the ghost in such a way that anyone left in the city will be killed.

All in City 17. But I'm sure the loations will be awesome all the same.

I hope City-17s got some sort of massive Central-Park style green area. :E

City 17 = win. I wouldn't have it any other way. Such a refreshing change from "Save the USA!" that so many other games use.

i need all new full-of-combine-metal-walls levels so bad

they're so.. shiny.. i miss them

i hope theres some night time levels in city 17, something i missed in hl2.

On the condition that Striders are given WOTW-style spotlights, of course.

Ehm ravenholm was kinda a nightlevel but yeah morenight level in AM would be sweet.

yeah, thats what i meant, actually in city 17, not ravenholm or nova prospekt, going around the streets at night with a squad would fecking own, striders with spotlights would be great too and those pesky cameras that take your picture to alert the guards to your presence.

half-life should do some effects like rain, maybe night time while while raining, combine with their lit up eyes roaming the streets looking for resistance members, striders with spotlights and flares going up like crazy

that would be friggin crazy...........
or maybe at night during a metoer shower!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After seeing War of the Worlds, I want to see alot more Striders... and alot more vapourising, or whatever they did. Rawr.

It would be off the hizzle if the striders started shooting their plasma cannons like crazy, maybe vamped up versions that can disintegrate non-organic matter, like cars and pieces of buildings, oh snap!!!

Signed.

But I still want to see my comrades being picked up and thrown into a Strider's trunk, and then shortly after, their blood being spewed out from an exhaust pipe of some sort onto me.

City 17 = win.....

.....so long as there is a bit more freedom involved. Half Life 2 as a whole was far too linear for my liking. I would like to see a more open, freeform environment.
