Do you think we'll still see this come the 30th or do you think Valve will hold it back until nearer the release of HL2? Even with the game delayed I see no reason why they shouldn't release the benchmark tool. It might even placate some people.

if they keep up their current pissing contest, then yes i think ít will postponed, i think the benchmark release was intended to be launched with the release of HL2--and now that hl2 has been pushed back its very probable that the benchmark also has.

Either way valve said the benchmark was intended to be released to the press on the 30th....i did'nt read it like it would be out for the general public.

damn now i can't figure out whatthe hell is true and whats not...

The release date for the benchmark is still 9/30, but we'll find out on 9/29 that it's been pushed back to a holiday release '04.
