I'm most likely going to see it, along with my whole family. I tend to agree with alot of Michel Moore's points. Even though many call him a fabricating loony, I think he is valid in alot of his view's and am highly anticipating this film. So who is gonna see it? Even if you disagree with alot of the things he says, I recommend seeing it- even if it's simply to argue all his points.

well....dunno if it'll make it over here...but i'll watch it if it does.

EDIT: interesting. i'd like to hear people's reasons behind voting 'Hell no.'

If it makes enough cash here in the U.S. (it will bring in alot) i'm sure it will come over the UK and most of Euro countries

To be blunt, Michael Moore is a moron. I normally don't call people names, but when he can't show respect towards other people it just aggravates me.

PS - The author of Fahrenheit 451 is upset that Michael Moore didn't seek permission (or even talk to him) about using a similar title.

the title seems to be a play on that book, because the book is all about a apocolyptic warped society bent on war and censorship. So Ray Bradbury (the author) might be mad if he didn't get permission. But I doubt it can be made into a big deal.

CNN is a highly biased news agency so I don't watch it.

Michael Moore makes highly biased documentaries so I don't watch them.

Plus I have probably heard all of the arguments before and even if I havn't then I will hear of them soon enough.

Did you guys know that it's popular with teenagers to hate Bush?????? Im not going to get into an argument of internet fact throwing but please don't believe everything you hear.

I'll watch it. I think if you disregard the fact that it's clearly not a documentary, you can find it very entertaining :)

I might. But I'll be sincere & say that I'll probably not pay for it... It ain't that good. Hell I don't even know what it's about. I've heard it's Pro-Bush?

Edit: It seems like Moore likes conspiracy-theories :) That's always good.

I'm seeing it, I tend to agree with most of his opinions and I'd like to see his take on this.
PS: ill pay for it.

I don't think Ray Bradbury will make a huge deal over the title, especially if its success

EDIT: woot I'm that water thing from hl1 now!!!

I don't much care for Moore, but I don't have a problem with him expressing his views, some of which I think are valid and other's not so much.

But the whole thing with the title just pisses me off. It's a blatant ripoff of Ray Bradbury's work. Bradbury even called them up and asked them not to use it, yet despite saying he respects bradbury Moore just basically ignored his request.

michael moore is pretty stupid. so no, i wont see it. but i probably will end up seeing it through some [edit: cruel] twist of fate anyway.

I work at a movie theater so I will see it, but there is no way in hell that I would ever pay to see it.

Everytime I watch the trailer I keep seeing how moore is trying to make it seem like theres another vietnam going on.

It basically finds a way to link Bush to Osama Bin Laden

Not quite. It's the Bush family's link to Saudi Arabia he's investigating, and to what cost it has incurred upon the U.S.

I'll be seeing it. I'm sure other people wouldn't see it on their lives. Pity too, this nation needs more insight and non-apathy.

"oh no! he ripped off ray bradbury! he must be a pinko commie, lets lynch him"

It would be kind of hard to lynch Moore, he must weigh atleast 250.

metaphorically of course; use words like:

unamerican, traitor, liar, propaganda

lol, I knew I would see some strong opinions around here (all of which I respect) but I still am very psyched (along with the rest of my family) to see the flick.

We watched Bowling for Columbine in school and half the class didn't understand it and the other half were completly brainwashed by the film and thought America is evil and they all wanted to move to Canada.

well, it's not like he has to try very hard at that..

anyway, i'll go see it if i get a chance, but i might just wait for the dvd.

I don't have much against Moore. His movies are designed to convey a specific viewpoint (just like any other movie out there) and express his beliefs on the status of America.

He doesn't give false information, but he does choose what he includes in his movies (very selectively). Like an essay for English, including information that disproves your thesis will prevent you from effectively conveying your viewpoint. In the end it's just a movie about a guy's views on the 9/11 attacks, backed by hard evidence. Whether fact or fiction, as long as it's entertaining and gets people to start thinking about politics, he accomplished his goal.

On the whole title thing, who cares. If you remember a few years back, the third Austin Powers movie was being fought by MGM (who holds the rights to the Bond films) over the title Goldmember being too much like the Bond film Goldfinger.

Anyways, I'll go see the film if I get the chance because controversy can often become very interesting indeed. Also because I want to see why things are the way they are today. It will be good to get a bit of a refresher. Whether i get fact or fiction, I go to see movies for entertainment value.

Thats incorrect on numerous counts. I do beleive there are lengthy lists of the false information given in "Blowling for Columbine" alone.

The one that comes to mind is the "ICBM factory" he points out, which actually just manufactures comercial satilite launch rockets.

Definitely gonna see it. There's no question that Moore has his faults, but his films are always interesting.

Ah yes, you mean the "Bowling for Truth" link everyone hides behind and has already been disputed on Moore's site? I really don't want to get into another of these discussions, though I will say your factory contention has also been addressed.

History shall be the judge of that.

no. i wasent even in the vietnam war and it offended me. lets do a little math. the average amount of fatalities in vietnam, per year, was (beginning in 1964 with the signing of the tonkin act, and ending in 1975 w/ saigon evacuation) was 6444. we have been in iraq for 1.4 years. we have had 848 casualties. thats 605 casualties per year. lets do a little comparison.

vietnam: 6444 casualties p/year
iraq: 605 casutlaies p/year

thats almost as stupid as bush comparing it to ww2.

I think the President meant as in fighting the axis of evil ~ axis during world war two; more in a ideological sense than a comparison.

I just think its ****ing sad when we allow movies to degrade our President(s) like this. It is utterly horrible to see this actually published, Disney was going to do it first then saw it, as you see they turned it down. Michael Moore has pushed it to the limits, he should start hiding soon before the secret service kill his dumbass.

Michael Moore can die for all I care. It's more of a ****ing fiction movie than anything else. I can't stand him, if he hates this country so much then why doesn't he go to France or some other country.

Meh I'll probably see it when it makes its merry way to the United Kingdom.

Where political commentary is rife and rather nasty.

(Plus I want to see Moore driving round in an ice-cream van)
