I still find it amusing that the majority of white Australians can trace their roots back to English convicts. :)
Or Irish, lets go ask Danimal which.

How can the Ireland be so f*cking fanatical about some stuff? It's absolutly crazy. You do thing you have a riot because you're so pissed off and just pissed and when you do other stuff you have a riot because you're so happy and pissed. I saw the end of a soccor match the other day and there was a little boy crying in the stand because of some reason I dont know because I didnt ask the boy at all. Aswell if there's more then one religon you have to divide up the town, you get none of that sh*t in England. All of like to get drunk and start fights and quickly beat the shit out of each other. We had an English man over and we brought him to a chruch and he was absolutly amazed to see everyoen killing each other. Until I saw riots in England over matches on the news did I believe anything like that could happen in anywhere other then Ireland, It's absolutly crazy.

Fixed.

Made about as much sence as your first post, and we also bashed the Irish, I mean why not, bash the English because they have afew riots (Like its been said, theres been none for ages), we bash you back.

ROFL! If you're English, and you just said you dont do your fighting over something stupid like religion, you must not know your history very well. I can name the thirty years war off the top of my head, want a few hundred more? You Europeans have been fighting each other and others for centuries over religion, step off the high horse.

o NOEZ AmERIKA R TEH RELIGIS KREWSADERS LOL!!1

Do you have any idea what he was referring to? He didn't say anything about America at all.

Foolish person.

If you're having trouble understanding my post, maybe you can get a responsible adult to help you with it.

I thought it was pretty clear your post was a blind, ignorance filled nod to the war in iraq. Doubt I was the only one. My sincerest apologies if i mistook you. By the way, nice attempt to insult me, it really hurt. I mean really, do you come up with your own material? Haha! You just told me to go get an adult to help me with it, implying that I was too young to understand the great nuances of your post. Im going to have to write that one down!!! LOL!

I think you're far too fixated on the war with Iraq. I'm certainly not - my post wasn't even the vaguest reference to it. I thought the war in Iraq was about removing a violent dictator, not about religion. You live and learn...

I'll do you a favour and explain my post to you. It was a reference to the sectarian violence that has been prevalent in Ireland for years. It was a little facetious remark twisting things round to make football seem more important than religion.

Understand now? I await your apology.

yes, mehico beat brazil, lawz, btw did you see adrianos goal against greece?

Whats wrong with passion? I'm sure you support some team. If you fully back your side and they lose something big after you had been hoping and supporting that side you will feel a sense of disappointment and it being a big let down. Some people who are very much so into it will show emotion because of it. I don't see the problem with passion for a game. Riots and such like are rare. And those thugs (generally Millwall fans) are the ones that start that crap. Most fans are there for a good time.

And the thing about Derbys. Well i'm a Tottenham Hotspur fan (no jokes please!) so i'm not a glory hunter, it was where i was born. And we hate the Arsenal cos we are right next door to each other. We rarely beat the shit out each other with table legs...we just dislike each other and get the games to do the talking. But the tension and hatred at the games, especially in derbys is so immense is makes a fantastic atmosphere. And most people on these forums will dislike football, as the typical fan rarely browses gaming sites like this with such regularity...so most people will agree with you. However you are in the minority very much so. I'd assume me, Feath and perhaps Pi are exceptions being fans (i'm assuming from their posts).

Anyway Football is our national sport, its awesome...and you suck!

The problem with football is that the players are just as bad as the fans, a bunch of stupid yobs the lot of 'em. You never have the problem with cricket players or Rugby players going out and taking drugs, drinking and beating up their wives and girlfriends, so the fans don't either.

I must say though that it isn't all football players or all football fans, just the premiereship ones. The further down the leagues you go, the better behaved the fans are and the better behaved the players are.

Heh! At least Soccor is a better sport than Basketboll... or the Irish pastime of drinking pints of Guinoss.

Soccer/Football was ruined for me after I realised that the players are weaklings. Touch 'em and they drop like a sack of potatoes. Then they roll around on the ground practically begging the ref to administer a red card to the 'attacker'. After that they get right back up like nothing happened. Kinda degrading if you ask me.

I remember watching a game about 7-8 years ago (when I first started watching soccer on TV) where an incident occured like the one mentioned above. I forget the teams that were playing, but here's what happened. Player X (star of one team) is running with the ball and Player Y (star of the other theam) swipes with his leg and takes the ball off of X. X flips sideways and immediately begins rolling on the ground holding his leg like he's been shot. X leaves the field on a stretcher and Y recieves a red card (is ejected from the game). Minutes later the game goes into injury time and Player X returns to the field, runs like the wind, fakes around a defender and scores the winning goal. :dozey:
This is the same man who was carried off on a stretcher merely minutes earlier. Sad that the game was won because someone was acting like an idiot. No wonder riots are breaking out all the time. This kind of thing would piss anyone off.

(P.S. I do know that basketball was invented by a Canadian :E )
