This is a remake i did of the Introduction. Is there any improvments you may suggest?

Solomon’s Temple

A Map for Half-Life 2. A Map both for Gaming and for Research. Made to be as close an example to the First Temple built for God/Yahweh in Biblical times during the reign of King Solomon. It is going to be developed through a Group of Graphic Mappers and Modelers.

The shape and construction will be determined through a Group of Professional’s on the Buildings Architecture. It is not going to have Monsters although when finished anyone who helped develop the map may use it to modify and to use as a personal reference work of there skill. It is not for a mod like

Example: CS but it can be edited for any mod you wish to use it in if you help in the Development of the map. That means you can make it into a death match map and also for cs or role-play. It is perfect for whichever occasion. The role in the map both in biblical times is perfect for any scenario.

Example: Role-play: You can have Priests and the Alter sacrifices and also the one who stays in the Holy of Holies meditating upon the Lord. The one who is in charge of the Pool/ Sea with the 12 Oxen holding the Brass Bowl. You can have the Elders and the congregation thereof.

Example: Cs you may have it to were the Romans Pillage the temple as done in the actual story of the Temples History and it can be used as so you have defenders and the ones who raid the Temple.

The map will be produced in sections due to the limit we are allowed. The temple will be very high Graphic, something rare in maps for HL2 due to the Limit allowed for the production of a map. We need Devs and anyone who is VERY knowledgeable on the information of mapping modeling and scripting ect….. We need a person to lead the Developers in there construction of the Map also.

This is to give a idea of how it will look.

Update: We have gained 5 Devs now and soon will be able to begind Development when i do i will post some of the pictures and show the link to the forum.
 
Mapping isn't just getting a shitload of people to make a single map, and then re-creating some specific structure. If you want the map to be re-playable, it has a to have a cool layout. That's usually not the case when someone just goes and makes their house, the white house, or a some specific egyptian temple. People are gonna go "hey neat, a cool map that is based off of an egyptian temple" and then run around once and then get bored because it doesn't play well.

It has to be laid out for the mod that it is for. CS should have two main areas and then at least two conflict areas, with places to hide and dark corners. Deathmatch is a bit easier, but still shouldn't consist of a single room, and should have hard-to-reach places to get weapons and stuff.

I just hope that you are taking that into consideration, with your... 5... people... But good luck.
