This is the scariest game I have ever played. As a FPS, I rank it at the top near deus ex.

My pics are in medium detail, 640x480, and all advanced settings on (except AA).

game looks great on those settings. wt rig u gt?

the game does look GREAT. i've never played anything that matched doom3's sound or graphics. the important thing for me though is that it runs smoothly. for those settings, it runs somewhere between 50 and 60 fps on average.

lol no no really, y dnt u think the game looks good?

links work for me........

the game looks awesome.............

Anyone see this yet? It's some kind of crane....it's so awesome!!!

You can pick up bodies too!

Oh, and to the topic maker, isn't that security camera part awesome? I thought that was the coolest thing ever.

tuemmykids I guess you were impressed with what the "strange growth" looked like with a flashlight shined on it too? heh..

can someone take a in game pic of doom 3 in 640x480 and in 800x600 in medium detail so i can compare?

;( how did you get it Abom?

Some nice pics! Anyone dared it on full everything @ 1600x1200?

would a radeon 9200 handle 640x480 with medium detail?

If you have a shitty PC you can still get great screenshots:

* Record a short demo of what you want to take a picture of.
* Change the resolution and detail to the highest possible.
* Playback the demo (maybe with "timedemo" so it doesn't skip any frames, but I'm not sure if you can take shots during a timedemo).
* Take a screenshot when the demo reaches that part again.
* Change settings back.

EDIT: I'm experimenting with the demoShot command, too... brb.

Well, the demoShot command apparently doesn't record any of the monitors in the game, but other than that it produces great results:
