Some people just can't handle 2 mouse buttons.

One problem with one-button Mac mice is that using the secondary fire function on some games is a real bitch.

-or it's just really inconvenient.

Stupid macs and their one button mice.

It's got to be one of the most inconvenient pieces of hardware I've come across.

Trying to convince themselves their sinking ship doesn't have holes...

Anyway, the biggest proof is that even the roller/3rd button function is VERY useful. Thats 2 more buttons than the mac has and its still useful..

" Two button mice require a decision with every mouse click." ..... lol

I would call this blind faith. I used both for gaming, right-click is all too important, and I'd assume for apps too.

I had to live without a scroll wheel/third button on a mouse for a year, and I must say... that is no life to live.

This is raging personal opinion--I have never seen a scientific test done on this. However, I would argue that with every mouse click, you have to decide whether you're going to click the right or left button. While this may not seem like a big deal, consider how many times you click the mouse in a day. A tenth of a second delay can suddenly start to add up.

Wow. W O W. Somebody please shoot this moron in the back of the face and/or break his legs.

lmfao hahahahah this is half the reason that i HATE macintrash. it's the iiiiiiiiiidiot users and their freakin mindset. ...i sit next to these people every day in class. aghas;lkfjasdl;ka

"The only people that want mice are the short sighted dumnasses or ex windows users with IQ 40."

...this coming from someone who can't spell "dumbass" ... ironic.

lol :)

Yeah I did quickly read through your other post but it wasnt as funny ;)

I saw a link to a mac forum where they actually wanted to set up an online shrine to a hoax article about a G5 having it's insides replaced with PC hardware. Every reply was about how stupid the hoaxer was and why anyone 'with a real interest in computers' would 'love to have a G5'. :P

I'd love to have a mac.

So I could toss it out a very high window and record it.

lmao ahhahha

I hate single button mince(?)

Thats like saying we should have keyboards with only one button because we might have to THINK before we press the key....what a moron.

Also, my dad has a mac, He's been using an optical two button+scroll wheel microsoft mouse since a week after he got the damn thing.

And he's an avid mac user.

i don't think anyone has to really 'think' about what button to press. PC users pretty much know that left click does everything, and right click is your power option. i doubt there's a thinking time or decision time, and even if there is it's negligable.

i used to use macs at school since that's all they had. this was before i was introduced to PCs, and even then i found the lack of more buttons annoying. a mac mouse just isn't as powerful as say, an Intellimouse Explorer mouse.

stop whinging you beardy bed wetting type wank stains

amazing. simply, amazing!

and I thought my friends were teh newbays ;P

Ahhhh....Can't decide what mouse button to press to submit this post.

*spontaneously combusts* :x

lol. :P

so you figured out which button is was then? could you enlighten us?

i've been sat here for half an hour trying to work out this damn two button with a wheel thing. i'm having to use TAB and enter to submit and do everything

I didn't click on my mouse, I think windows felt sorry for me so it submitted my post like an evil monopolistic operating system should do.

One mouse button? That is unbelievable. I would hate to see that guy drive a car. Probably doesn't know how to use the steering wheel.

That point about thinking what button to press is complete nonsense....Its like saying escape and enter should be the same thing because it means less decision making. Right click serves its purpose and left click has another job...Its not like they both do the same thing.

Heh, driving a car.
"Hey ive got this great idea...lets make the break and the accelerator one thing. It means less decision making and as a bonus no one will fall apart when someone tells them they have to break."

Its just goes to show that males who play PC shooters can really multitask, not just females (It just depends how you were brought up) Don't forget we have to use the mouse and keyboard together. We:

Have a lack of phobias
Have heightened awareness
Can kill people without killing people
Can solve puzzles
Can do a lot of other shit

Well to be fair, Mac actually invented the mouse. MS simply stole the idea and added on to it. I still couldn't imagine how life would be with a 1 button mouse, hell I'm about to buy a mouse with like 9 buttons on it.

Maybe it's just me but I'm still trying to understand how to shoot someone in the back of their face...I'm not making fun of you or anything It's just it had me laughing so hard I just had to say something...It just sounds funny...even when you say it out loud..."shoot this moron in the back of the face" lol

But seriously no offense intended...it was a really funny comment...

Uh oh! Another idiot Mac-bashing thread. Hey dumbasses--you can plug a two-button (or even a five-button) USB mouse into a Macintosh and still use it. Conversely, you can plug a single-button Apple mouse into a PC's USB port. Get a freaking grip.

And if you think they don't make games for the Mac, you are sorely mistaken

Just the fact they can get all the new Mac games in one page supports us!!!

Anyways, I like Macs, just not for gaming.

MS is not PC...PC's are simply the hardware that MS uses.
You are absolutely right, but if I remember correctly MS programmed the 2 button mouse, not a company making PCs such as IBM.

Hey, man, chill out, I'm like not feeling your vibe :smoking:. Nobody is bashing macs, its just a little humor. I have no hate for people that like macs, I simply don't like the macs for my personal reasons just like you seem to dislike PC for your personal reasons.

Although I do have to wonder why hes on an HL2 forum.....:D

Umm...oh yah that is right...I left click to click on stuck and right click to...OMG I AM SO LOST AGHGHGH!!!!

i've never been able to figure out how to use a mac mouse...

Well thats stupid the right button speeds up our use of the pc/mac. Ah well their loss.
Macs do play games but there is a very limited choice.

To be clear, this isn't a Mac bashing thread, this is a 1-button mouse bashing thread.

Yah, but it takes a long time for a room full of monkeys to make a game work on a mac.
