.. in photoshop 7.

They're not that great, but I drawed them with my computer mouse just to see how it would end up, heh.

Well write what you think about them, here they are:

It only let me attach 5 pictures and I had 6, so here's the last one.

Yeah.. I'm not that great with shading either, just look at the hand *laughs*
Thanks for the comment.

Would be great if a talented person could come and tell me if I'm doing a good start. :)

One thing. This always cracks me up. Since when did noses have outlines LOL. Everyone makes this mistake in early art.

Cool, I have that phone..

Nice work, I can't draw at all with just a mouse.

i agree but, well its only a quick sketch, like he said so it doesnt matter.

I don't pretend to be uberleet when it comes to drawing, but I think I can give you crits good enough for you to improve..: :)

I'll show some stuff from a painting I'm working on, eventhough It's not finished..

For the eye, it's looking pretty good, but the eyebrow is way too far down! Maybe the iris is a bit too small, she looks frightened or something (don't know if that's what you were after).
Check my first pic!

The hand looks pretty good actually, I'm not very good with hands myself TBH... Shading looks allright, except the shading in the middle of the hand is abit too obvious, and I don't think we have any long grooves in the middle of our hands that require shading like that. If anything, just make it a slight shade lighter on the top of the hand, since it bulges out just a teeny bit there.

The lips look good, don't have any obvious tip for those! just work on the shading :)

The nose also looks allright, but it should be made out of three parts, so to speak. The two sides have the nostrils, and the middle one is your nosetip.
Check pic number 2.

"Ok" is ok really  Just looks weird to see a nose and lips without the rest of the face to go with it! Just mind the nose, like I said..

"Telefoninen" looks pretty great for being drawn with a mouse.. I'm impressed..

I hope it helped, and remember, things will go alot easier with a tablet than with a mouse... I got a graphire 3 myself a few weeks ago...

SHIPPI, isn't that phone great? :)
I have it too.

And thanks for the tip Sorze but I don't understand what you mean with the nose part. Since you're swedish, and so am I.. think you could take it in swedish? :p

Much appreciated.

Haha, ok svenska då.. :)

"Telefoninen"...? Trodde du va finne..

På din bild av näsan ser d ut som om nästippen (om d finns nån..?) sitter högre upp än näsborrarna. Egentligen sitter den i höjd med, eller ibland under.. Näsborrarna är inte så tydliga heller. Kolla dig själv i spegeln..

Kanske kan jobba me nåt skoj sen... :)

Ahh nu förstår jag va du menar. Tack.

Here's some more pictures, all from my mind.

Nice!

You certainly have your own style!
Is that still drawn only with a mouse? Quite impressive then..

(Feels gay to talk english with a fellow swede when noone else reads it anyways...)

EDIT: Yeah, loads better. Looks alot more natural now!

Thanks!

Hehe, I think it's a rule to only talk english :p

And yes, all made by hand with computer mouse.
I've been looking at those computer pencils tablets or what they're called.. but they're too expensive :hmph:

Someone on the forums managed to get one for something like ten bucks. He had some massive discounts though.

I suggest buying the wacom volito. it's definatly the best tablet for its prise wich lies between the 50 and 60 bucks

look at the wacom website www.wacom.com for more information.

well, good luck. I see you already have a good skill with the mouse. I think you can really fine tune it with a tablet. needs getting used to tho because the position of the pen point on in the rectangle on the tablet is reletive to the cursor on your screen.

well, laters!

Thanks for the replies.
I'll look into it further and hopefully have one soon.

Take care.
